Free dining and free airline tickets for my 20 year service award. Help me say no!! I have an $1800 snowball that needs to go to Capital One not Disney!!
A dozen elephants for a nickel is only a deal if you have a nickel and need a dozen elephants.
A few years ago, we won a "free" 7-day cruise. By the time we were done, it ended up costing about $3,000. Don't be fooled by all the offers. If you can't truly afford it, don't go. Better to let the free tickets go to waste than to spend money you don't have to use the tickets.
OK. I have to know... how did THAT add up?? Flights plus what? Did they get you for port charges and tax, too?
I dont know your situation, but at somepoint you have to allow yourself to have some FUN.
You cant live you life always planning for the future and saving for this or that, since that future may never come. The only thing we can be sure of is today.
It is good to plan and save but at somepoint you also need to enjoy the present and make good memories with those you love today.
Take a look at your finances and if you can swing it (and not occur new interest bearing debt) then go and have fun and dont worry about what Dave Ramsey would tell you to do.

NO do not! You have worked so hard to get $1800 and have it really make a difference in your debt- don't spend it on something that keeps you further from your goals.
I think everyone here feels like the OP where we just want to do something just because we WANT to but being an adult means DOING the right thing- even if very hard. You will feel so good seeing less debt!
