Hints of Disney

My FI and I are getting married May 18th in our hometown and then flying in the 19th for our Disneymoon. I can't wait!

I'm wondering if you have any ideas of ways we could subtly incorporate Disney without it being too in-your-face? My stationary person said she'll make our table numbers with a Disney font, but what else can we do? I really don't want it to be too obvious, but it would be fun to have some hidden Disney :)

You could put crystal hidden mickeys in your bouquet! If you google it, you will see what I mean! :tink:

Hi there, fellow CT-er! :) I grew up in Bolton (I see you like Uconn! haha)
We got married in Disney but still wanted to keep it subtle- we got a mickey ear hat embroidered with our date and had our photographers take a picture of just the hat during our engagement pictures. We used that picture as one of the pictures on our Save the Date's and I used it on the back of our placecards. You could also name the table names after rides and then use fastpass escort cards to show them where to sit. I think I have pictures of ours in my PJ- the fastpass cards were super inexpensive and weren't screaming Disney. One of the girls here just had an at-home disney wedding in NJ last night and her pictures look awesome!! Come over and join out FB group- updates are faster, pictures etc :) Happy planning!:goodvibes

Hi CTer! :wave2: I am a Uconn fan :) I'd love to join on fbook...what should I search?

Thanks for the replies everyone!

We're also having at home Disney wedding! :goodvibes

We're have vintage books with a single rose as our centerpieces for Beauty and the Beast. Our wedding colors are blue, yellow, and red for the same reason.

Hidden Mickey's in the piping on our wedding cake and in the BM bouquets.

I also got FI Mickey cufflinks. Found them on Ebay for $10.

Similar story for us to (getting married next sep then off the WDW)
The Disney features we are using are:
- shortbread and gingerbread Mickey Mouse favours (may be too blatant)
- cupcakes with Oreo cookies and icing bows to make Minnie ears on them (again a bit blatant)
- on the invitations I have a corner with the outline of several love hearts, one of them is actually the outline of mickeys head (obvious when you know but others haven't noticed)
- we've had little clay people made for the cake (expensive but look awesome), the groom is holding a mickey ear headband.

I'm off to have a look at those mickey crystals!!
Congratulations and good luck!
