HHN 2014......What Are Your Dates

3 of us for Oct 5, also doing TOT on the 4th so Sunday it is! We love meeting new people so hopefully we can spot the jersey, looks like we picked the right night! I have never planned a strategy for the houses and shows because I like to just go with the flow but I am bringing my daughter in law for her 1st time and want to make sure she see's just about everything. I know in the past I have seen someone post tips like get there early but I have not found anything this year. Did I overlook it?

I'll be there tomorrow night with some family from out of town and again on 10/4 by myself. I wouldn't mind hanging out on the 4th if anyone's already seen it and is cool with a laid back time (I won't be hitting all the houses that night for instance).

DH and I are going to our first HHN one week from today. I'm not sure if I'm excited or terrified...

We will be there on October 26. DH, me and 3 twenty somethings. We'll be staying onsite, have express passes and will be taking advantage of stay and scream. Dinner at Finnegan's @ 4:15.

I hate, hate, hate conga line type houses. A bit of claustrophobia and I'm a mess. How did I agree to get tickets for myself? I should send the kids and DH to the park while I sit in a hot tub and get rested up for WDW the second half of our trip!;)

We will be there Nov 30 through Dec 5. I am frantic, it's our first time and I have a million ticket/resort questions... if a vet wants to hold my hand please PM me :)

to get lots of help, suggestions and ideas, post on the main forum and you'll get homies to jump in to guide and help you.
i know there will be homies that will hold your hand and let you know the first time you go is fantastic.

you are going at a great time where you will be avoiding long lines and still have decent weather at the darkside.

this thread is for the hhn addicts and newbies that will be going up to november 1st on a hard ticket event.
if you change your dates and go in october, you'll have many here that will explain the ropes to you.

glad you stopped in, think about doing hhn next year!

Haha oops I see HHN now... my bad.

I want to go on Oct 5th pretty bad but unfortunately not having luck convincing the significant other as she is a bit of a wuss. ;) Likely will need to live vicariously. Can I hear the screaming from outside the walls? Ha.
*update*

Looks like I may be attending this one solo. Will be a game time decision pending availability tomorrow but hoping I can do it. Debating whether to bring her or not because she's not really into scary movies and such but we do watch the Walking Dead, she isn't bothered by older horror movies like Halloween, Poltergeist, etc., and I've managed to get her to watch newer ones like The Ring and The Conjuring (which did both scare her a bit... which is the point, right?! ha). I'm just worried that we'll be those people walking in who get escorted out after 10 minutes.

I'll be at HHN on October 12th (solo) + express pass

October 16th (my birthday), I'll be doing both morning and afternoon Unmasking the Horror tours.

By sheer luck (and Delta messing with our flight schedule), we will be in Florida one extra day, which means we (party of eight) will be partaking in HHN on Nov 1st.

Yep, last day for the party!

Anyone else been on the last day? It falls on a Saturday this year....

Hey gang - I just found out that i'll be hitting HHN tonight solo :/ - friend got called into work, and it's my last night here. Message me if you wanna meet up! thanks, - Tom

I would have sent you a pm but just now reading this.
I hope you had express pass, left a bit ago and 2 of the houses were at 2 hour waits.
Hope you were able to do all the houses and shows

I will be going October 30th with Stay and Scream and Express. I only get the one night. Will I get all the houses and Bill and Ted done? If not, what should I skip or how can I tour to do so?

Bill and teds first nightly showing is valid for express.
Utilize the stay and scream and hit houses early.

If the pattern holds, AVP will be open early.
Dracula also if you do SNS at finnegans.

Walking dead had a 45 minute wait at 6:30. That house opens at 6:30 and many go there first when released from SNS instead of doing the two early opened houses.
Your choice.
I preferred WD house after it was dark as the strob lights in that house had a better effect when it was dark that night.

Halloween and dollhouse had long waits also on the nights I was there.
Think Halloween had longer waits early than dollhouse.

The way it is set up, do Roanoke first as it empties back to dollhouse entry.

Use your express when lines start to have over 30 minute waits to get them all in besides the two shows.
