Charlie's L'Etoile Verte, one of the best restaurants on the island, has just relocated. It has taken over the space formerly occupied by Charleston's restaurant on New Orleans Road. We've had several dinners at Charlie's old location, which was in the mini-maill just past the Palmetto Dunes entrance, and they've all been terrific. It's a very good value too.

Alexander's has a great deal going on the early bird. From 5-6pm they have about 13 different meals for $13.95. Good food and good price. Alexander's is on the right on the way to the Beach House.

I love Charlie's - we were there over NYE and saw that it had moved - we only ate at Santa Fe Cafe - my other favorite. It was convenient having them both in the same mini mall right across from Shelter Cove. We'll have to try the new space next time!
