Hi all, been lurking for a week or two and decided it was time to join in officially. I'm a born and raised Cali girl with a love for Disney among other things. I'm smart and nerdy in general, and if it's pink and sparkly, I'm in. I love coasters, but as I get older, they become more problematic. I love going to DL solo for food, exercise, and people watching. My parents and I are DVC members, with 2 WDW trips and one cruise under our belts (they did a second one without me too). Our next trip is in January on the Fantasy for a western caribean + Star Wars Day at sea. This will be my DH's first Disney Cruise/cruise ever, and I knew throwing in SW was a good enticement. Btw, my current motto is "Princess Liea doesn't eat that..." Or some variation thereof as I try to get in ridiculous shape for some very sexy Star Wars costumes my DH picked out. I love looking at food porn to try and scratch the itch in my brain for things I shouldn't eat though.

Lol. Ah, a kindred spirit! And I don't know that it's so much about DL over WDW as it is about frequency of visits and proximity. Maybe if I'd grown up doing WDW more things would be different. But I was born and raised in an OC, Cali family who loves disney and didn't have the money to go across country every year. Well, we might have, but we chose to do other things with it. No regrets though. I got plenty of Disney kid magic, and all my memories of WDW are very clear. I REALLY want to do DLP, DLRT/sea, DLRHK, and the new pictures of what DLRShanghai should look like are awesome. I think a future ABD plus DLRHK and DLRSH will be in order. Honestly, traveling mainland Asia sort of scares me without a great guide.
