Hello!

I haven't been to Disney for two years. Before that we went about twice a year Now, a caravan of us...16.. in all are going the week before Easter. So far, we have booked 2 -2 bedrooms lockoffs at the Grand Floridian Villas. Now, we need planning suggestions from y'all. We have the following ages:

2 married couples - about 40 years old
1 set of grandparents - 63.
1 grandpa - 63.
1 Aunt - 36
7 kids: 1, 3,4, 2 seven year olds, 9 and 10.

Everyone has been to Disney a lot but none of us recently. We want the most interesting, most fun suggestions and tips from everyone. Just remember 7 children don't want to hang out at long dinners.
Sky's the limit. Go ahead and Dream Grand!

Bring special clothes to wear, get to MK early and become pirates for the day. WE LOVED IT!! They are amazingly fun at the Pirate League. We had people asking to take pictures with us. Ride operators would declare, "Look out we have pirates aboard!" To which we would reply,,,ARRRGGG!! Some younger children were a bit frightened of us..especially my one 21 year old daughter who was a skeleton. Then her day was made when a 3 year old child came up and slipped her had into my daughters and started rattling off (as ony a 3 year old can) in Spanish. Her dad explained that his daughter had just experienced her first Day of the Dead festival home in Mexico so knew that skeletons were nothing to be afraid of. It was a highlight. In short, it was a day of fun and frolic for not only ourselves but everyone we came into contact with that day. Many smiles.

Dinner at Boma timed to end at dusk. Then go out back and check out the animals on the Savannah with night vision goggles

How about one of the special fireworks cruises for Wishes or Illuminations. They are pricey but supposed to be really cool. Another idea would be the Pirate and Pals Fireworks cruise on the day you go to the Pirate's League.

We ( 2 adults and 5 kids 6,8,14,15,17) went to Ohana for dinner this last trip and not only was the food great but they had activities for the kids like coconut races and dancing that kept them entertained between courses. Dinner took about an hour but we also lingered so that we got 2nd rounds of the meat. We watched the water pageant from the beach afterwards and then went to Mk for Wishes. You can also stay and watch the movie on the beach and stay at the Poly for Wishes as well.

I would recommend doing an Illuminations cruise. It is a spectacular way to see Illuminations. You pick up a boat at Yacht/Beach Club & cruise over to Epcot. When we did it, several years ago, we were "parked" under the bridge between the UK & France. The view is amazing.
