I am however going to WDW and doing a Wonder Cruise in July , hope they don't trash the ship, drink it dry, steal all the towel animals

I actually really, really do need your support fer reals as our 10 year old ONLY son has been quite ill since all of the way back to January---MANY biopsies, specialists, meds later, and his diagnosis is gastropereseis or possibly abdominal migraines---one issue that goes along with these is MOTION SICKNESS---so long story short, we a re DOUBTFUL even for the non-podcast cruise now for next week---UGH!

My name is Jenni, and I too, am not cruising.

At first, DH wasn't even going to let us go to WDW this year. First, I tried quiet subtle whining. With all the overtime I'm working, and all the pressure I'm under at work, I really wanted something to look forward to. Finally, he agreed to at least letting me find out what a reservation would be when I got a PIN code via e-mail. And then, when I told him about the 100 point minimum for DVC purchase at AKV (our favorite resort), after he had some time to think...he agreed! So now I get to go to WDW during my beloved Food & Wine in October. It's not the Podcast Cruise, but I'm almost as happy!!

I am just sick that that I am not on the cruise as well. I'm a teacher and time off in May is virtually impossible.

DITTO! But I will be thinking about y'all! We went last year on our 3rd. Believe me - if I could get the time off in early May - I would be there in a heart beat!

I hope I didn't come across as whiny or bitter in any way, because I am totally not whining about this. I did take an Adventures by Disney trip in December:

And I have two WDW trips planned for October and December. (Well, according to my signature, I am!)

I'm planning on meeting up with DISers in October for sure, so I do manage to stay social.

Our ten year anniversary is in May and it would have been a wonderful anniversary trip but I just don't have the vacation time saved up yet. And we are wanting to wait to take a cruise until our youngest is at least four, so maybe next year.

Hi, I'm Pamela and I'm not going on the podcast cruise

I've been offline for a couple months, so am mostly out of touch other than occasional marathon bouts of listening to the podcasts.

I think the cruisers are going to have a wonderful time - all the stuff they are doing and the chattiness remind me of last summer. My family was very fortunate and went on the Eastbound Panama Canal cruise - we had over 500 DIS folks (counting family members) and it was a blast! That cruise is the main reason I can't do the podcast cruise. DS9 missed the first 5 days of 4th grade and I just can't get away with pulling him out again. (There is a cap of 8 days missed before it becomes an "issue") And I don't think DS & DH would ever forgive me if I did a DCL cruise without them

On the plus side, we are going to WDW in June (after school is out) to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We spent part of our honeymoon at WDW (DH's 1st trip!) and stayed at the brand new Grand Floridian. So that makes up a little for missing the podcast cruise - but I am sad not to get a chance to meet the podcast team.
