Have you ever been disconnected while talking to MS?

Have you ever had this happen to you and did you panic? We had previously booked a trip to WDW for September to stay at AKV Kidani. Well we then decided to do a New England cruise in September and rebook our WDW trip to January. Well we got to talking during lunch today and thought why not go again in December. We love WDW at Christmas and even though we've done it for the last two years, why not again this year and go that first week in December. Well I got back home and called MS. I could not get Kidani but there were plenty of studios at Jambo. Right in the middle of my conversation with MS though, the phone disconnected. After saying a few choice words about our phones (that's another whole story) I panicked because I could see us calling back and nothing being available. After spending 5 minutes waiting to get back in, thank goodness I could still get a studio at Jambo. In fact the CM said even though Kidani was booked up solid, there were plenty of studios available at Jambo. But for a moment there I was really concerned and also concerned that somehow we might end up with two reservations.

Has this happened to anyone else, that you got disconnnected while talking to MS? Did everything turn out okay for you? I still want to check my points carefully on the member website just to make sure the points are correct. I'm disappointed we couldn't get Kidani, but really excited we're going back the third year in a row for Christmas.

Well we can't book till May 19 and Jambo house Studio is what we need so HOPEFULLY there will be some left, doubt it, but hoping. Kids want to stay there this year for Christmas

We have lost our reservation while still on the phone with MS so I am sure that if you get disconnected you could lose it too.

Last May I was as usual running a bit late on everything, and I called Member Services at the last minute possible to make reservations. We have an October Use Year and with the 4 month rule, May 31st is the last time we could call to bank our points or make a reservation for Disneyland Paris for travel in September 2008. I completely forgot that I needed to call and do this until around 4:30 on the 31st. In a panic I called and got through. I was waiting until the last day to hear back form some relatives in England who weren't sure if they would be joining us or not. Well I got transferred to the Paris specialists, gave her the information and she was booking everything, then my phone connection died. By this point it was after 5 o'clock and I was really in a panic as nothing was confirmed yet. I tried to call back and got the message that they were closed, but 20 seconds later my phone rang and it was the woman from Member services!! She confirmed my Paris reservation and allowed me to bank the remainder of my points. That saved me quite a debacle and I vowed never to wait for the last minute on making my reservations or banking again. It was quite a magical experience when I realized it was her on the phone!

My stupid phone seems to disconnect frequently and I have a dead spot over a hill I travel quite a bit. I always tell them when I get on the phone my phone might disconnect when I first get through. They always ask my number and call me back if we get disconnected...
