Has anyone flown with First Choice from Bristol?

I was just wondering if anyone had flown with First Choice from Bristol. If so, how was the flight as regards entertainment, food etc? Also, if anyone has upgraded do you think it was worth it? The new look in the brochures does seem good. Also is it fairly easy to get to WDW from Sanford airport and how long does it take?

We flew with Virgin at Easter but First Choice seem to be coming out slightly cheaper and Bristol is much better to get home from after such a long flight than Gatwick.

Have never flown First Choice or into Sanford but I have found some links for you that may help.

If you search on 'choice' within the UK Trip Planning Forum there are loads more , not necessarily from Bristol but I am sure they will help.

In my experience if you can afford to upgrade your seats to a better class then generally it is well worth it.

We have flown with First Choice quite a few times but never from Bristol. We have flown a couple of times since they upgraded the seating and its very good in economy or whatever they call it.

We nearly always upgrade with other airlines but the new seating with First Choice is that good you don't really have to bother.

Good news if they are flying from Bristol for us Devonians :thumbsup2

Is it on the new FC planes or just a FC holiday on say Monarch?

we have flown with FC twice and they are excellant the newplanes started in May2005. They start to fly from bristol as from 2007 we are booked to fly from there in july07. i think their start date is feb2007 but dont quote me on it. when we fly in july we have to touch down to refuel but not sure where at the moment.

The leg room on the planes are very good and the entertainment is great each seat has their own tv/games machine the programmes you can watch and films give a good range for all ages and are listed on FC site and change every so often.
Food is ok breakfast coming back was a bit uugh muffin and a nutrigrain bar but this might change from year to year.
We recommend FC to many people. Cant wait to start flying from BRS as we only live 20mins away and our house is right under the flight path

We are flying on the new planes next year and are looking forward to it as we've upgraded to premium.
Flew on the old plane last year and they were ok, comfortable enough in economy but i missed the individual seatback TVs and was not pleased to have to pay for headphones!
But the service and flight was good.

~The new planes have been getting rave reviews - eclipsing both Virgin and BA for comfort and service even in economy.

The drive from Sanford to WDW is pretty straight forward just follow the 417 toll road all the way. It took us about 40 mins to get to the middle of I Drive but the speed with which we got through Sanford airport compared to the crawl through Orlando Intl more than made up for it. Would quite happily go through Sanford every time.
