Halloween things to do

So I am looking for some tips!!! We will be in WDW for Halloween this year. We are not going to do the Mickey party, as it's expensive and we have done it before. So what are our options??? I know y'all will have a lot of tips for me!!,

Your options are:

1) Most (all?) Disney resorts will have some sort of Halloween celebration. Usually a couple characters, maybe a DJ, crafts, etc...

2) DTD has a Halloween party at Disney Quest. There is a charge for this (around $50 I think).

3) Ft. Wilderness campground: They have great Halloween decorations, a golf cart parade, and trick or treating. There is some debate over whether trick or treating is restricted to campground guests or not.
