My cooking skills are limited. Very limited. My knowledge ends at anything before and after boxed Macaroni and Cheese, including most microwaveable delicacies.

I can not cook. Plain and simple. I set the toaster on fire once! I can't even open an oven door, too scared.
So tonight, in my quest for knowledge (AKA I was starving and needed to eat) I decided to attempt this thing they call "French Toast". Simple, right? 4 ingrediants - bread, eggs, milk, and a frying pan.

Yeah. Uh huh. In a foreign planet maybe. First, the burner almost set on fire. Then, it wouldn't cook. I was standing there for 15 minutes and went through two pans, two slices of bread, and two eggs. They're still raw.
And my parents just think I'm lazy.

You tried, hey, I can't even get eggs to crack without getting the shells every where.

I LOVE cooking!!! Let me know if you attempt to make anything else. Ill try to help. :)

My cousin's friend tried to make grilled cheese once. 3 ingredients: butter, bread, cheese. She put 2 slices of cheese in the bread, put butter of the bread, and put it... in the toaster. THE TOASTER!!!:scared1: It caught on fire. See? It could be worse.

See, ya make grilled cheese in a frying pan.
And it would make sense for it to catch on fire assuming you're using a pop up toaster. You put butter on after..

    Nah.

In the frying pan you put butter on one side *aka the side that youre gonna put face down* then you let that fry for a wile then put the cheese and other slice of butter bread *with the butter side up* and then once golden crispy you flip it and put it on the other side.

putting butter on..afterwards...makes absolutely no sesne...but...whatever floats your boat? :confused3

Ah okay, that post got me confused!

They are! I wish i had one, instead we have a "bagel toaster" and...thats just..like probably the stupidest thing ive ever heard, because we dont even eat bagels and even if we did we dont toast them xD

    Toaster ovens are sooo cool.
When my easy bake oven broke and i had all of those packets left of the mix i would put it in there instead and all of my treats came out perfectly.
    It was awesome xD

I loveeee bagels. Blueberry, maple and apple cinnamon (minus the raisins!) are my favorites.

We`ve never used a pop toaster. Always been an oven. I use like everyday for things like toast, and baked potatoes.

    How is that even possible?
Unless of course you're using parchment paper and it catches on fire.
My nuggets always turn out a little burnt, but that's because I never know when things are cooked.

The only fire I've created is one time I put butter in the microwave with the metallic wrapper on it, hoping to soften it...
    Geez, bad idea.
