Grand Floridian Splash Pad refurb...

I read on this board that the Mad Hatter Splash Pad was closed last week. I have not found it posted on any official site. Anyone there now and know if it reopened yet? We arrive next week and we're hoping for good news.

It was open on and off during our stay around Easter this year. We were told it was being worked on. Not sure if it was rennovation, or broken. Hope this helps.

There is an enclosure around the entire pad and the big hat was gone as of yesterday afternoon. It seems to be under repair and not being replaced.

Keep the info coming! Of course this was a selling point on us staying there with two toddlers.

I'm with you Kelly O- we are going on Sunday and we love that splash pad- any ideas how one would find out what the schedule for this repair is?

The walls were still up around it as of yesterday.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .....that was Friday, today Tuesday, it's still open right?!? ha! We will be there in 3 days
