Good Idea/Bad idea? Chocolate slipper at MNSSHP?

I want to treat DW with a chocolate slipper at our CRT dinner (5p) on one of our MNSSHP nights next month. (The second night is at the CP) Assuming she can't eat everything or would simply prefer to save it, between a full night and the heat, is it a bad idea to try to lug the slipper around all night?

They put the slippers into a medium sized box. It's too big to put into your bag, we had to carry ours earlier this year. One could easily be eaten by 1-2 people at one sitting.

I'd be worried about it melting. September can be very hot.
