My 19 y.o. celiac niece was treated fantastically on NCL last summer. Never got Glutened (as we call it , poisoned) Had a special diet waiter follow her practically everywhere. Took her order for the next meal prior to leaving every time. Explained her options to her for port days. He carried a phone all the time, she had his number to call anytime & was never denied anything. He even told her before he had a few hours off to call the number anyway, someone else would be watching his phone. One night at dinner a server put something in front of her that we all knew was bad, he somehow appeared & grabbed it before we could even say anything. He kept apologizing & politely scolded the sever. I would recommend NCL to anyone, even tho Disney is better. Lol. Just notify the cruise line at time of booking for any special diet needs. We make a follow up phone call about 6 weeks pre-cruise & then go to guest services immediately upon boarding.
