Gift card for tips on DDP?

I know this has been asked before but I couldn't find the thread with the answer so please indulge me.

Can we use a disney gift card for the tips? For exmple, if I have a $100 GC, can I keep using it on the various restaurants for tips? According to the displanner I will likely have $94 in tips for my 7 TS meals - was hoping I could set aside a $100 GC for that. Will they take the tip i write and deduct from the GC so i can keep using it at other restaurants?

Also, is it tacky to do this? Will the servers not get their full share this way?
