Getting to and from Hoop De Do

We are staying at POR this June and doing Hoop De Do for the first time. We're doing the 6:15 show. Our plan is to go to the Magic Kingdom that day so we can take the boat over to Fort Wilderness. After dinner I think the best way to get back to POR is to take the boat back to the Magic Kingdom and catch a bus from there. Is this a good way to navigate to and from Hoop De Do? Thanks.

This should work out fine for you. You can also catch buses to the other parks, but in some cases this will require taking an internal FW bus first. The boat to MK then to POR should be the fastest route.

They usually provide direct bus service to your resort afterwards. They will direct you out to an area with buses for each resort.

Last time, we wanted to do Epcot Illuminations afterwards, so we had a crazy trip getting there (our fault, they told us the easy way to do it), but the first time we did HDDR we got right on a resort bus. So easy.
