Garden Grill and Teppan Edo...and Illuminations

On our first and last evenings at WDW, we have ADRs at Garden Grill and Teppan Edo at roughly 7:30ish at night. If memory serves, Illuminations begins at 9:00 (is that right?). Can Illuminations be seen at either of these restaurants and, if so, does it make a difference where you sit? And, if it does make a difference where you sit, can you request those specific areas (and where are they?)?

Yes, it starts at 9pm but you won't see it from inside those restaurants. You can, however, see it while you dine at Rose & Crown.

Garden grill is INSIDE the Land pavilion with no windows and in Future World. So you can't see from there.Teppan Edo is in World Showcase and really has no view of Illuminations either. The only restaurant with a totally unobstructed view of Illuminations is the patio at Rose and Crown and they won't let you request it any longer.

1) No views from either restaurant.
2) But, Tokyo Dining does have a good view.
3) Your 7:30pm ressies could cause you to be late to Illuminations
. . . the dinner should be done in 1¼ hours for each
. . . but, you might get in late from your ADR time at that hour
. . . the latger in the day, the longer the ADR's could stack up
