Full day LA/Hollywood tour with on/off

We are staying at DLH and want to do a full day LA/Hollywood tour but would like to be able to get off at some sights to explore.

We were looking at the Grayline tour but are you allowed off at the stops? Or is there a better tour to take?

I meant to add I see some stops on Grayline, how long do you have at the stops? This does seem to be the best fit

If it's like the Grayline hop-on/hop-off tours in New York City you can take as long as you like - you just wait for the next bus. Just make sure you don't miss the last bus of the day.

Thanks for the info, I wasnt sure if that tour picked up at DLH and if it included a tour or was just a shuttle to the area.

It looks like the LA/Hollywood experience tour does make some stops, but still wondered if anyone had any experience with this tour and enjoyed it.
