From 8 to 80!Seeing the Magic through a new set of eyes-Updated7/15-NEW TR LINK pg 28

Hey all!! I am currently sitting at MCO waiting to board my flight back to Canada, and just wanted to say that I've had another wonderful trip with tons of friends, familiar faces, and even some new friends along for the ride!! I will probably share some pictures in a "real life update" when I have more time to put into it, but for now, feel free to check out my instagram (Katt789) for some of the adventures!! Hope you all are well and are enjoying spring so far!

********

What’s a group of young adults to do in Animal Kingdom after 8 battles with a ferocious yeti?! Why, take a two week journey through the African wilderness!

It was an pretty active morning for animals so far, which was AMAZING, I mean, I’d never seen the hippos out and about like that! It was GREAT! HIPPOS!

Some of my favorites, I really do enjoy the safari for it has a lot of my favorite animals, guess I’m partial to African types! Bahaha. The BEST however, was coming up around the bend….

ROAR!! Look at that majestic mane! That cute little face! I WANT ONE…bahaha. But seriously….seeing the lion up and awake and seeing the male lion, that’s impressive, thank you early morning safari!

We came across pumbaa…and then came across this…

#deadzebra

JUST KIDDING! However we did have a pretty good laugh because it really did look like he was dead…once the jeep got closer he kinda startled and jumped right up.

The three of us had managed to kill some of our morning and took some time wandering through the stores as we made our way over to Camp Minnie Mickey….it was time for a monumental and emotional rollercoaster of an hour….

CLEARLY, we were headed over to Festival of the Lion King, and since this was the last time I THOUGHT I’d be back before the show closed, it was going to be an emotional one. I was also hoping that we’d luck out with casts and get a really good one. The show was at this point, rumored/scheduled to close January 5 th and re open sometime next spring. I’d also heard that the show would be modified slightly, who knows what THAT MEANS?!!!??? Also I know that all the cast is required to re audition, no matter what, so I’m not sure who will be choosing to audition, and who’ll just say screw it, and move on.

We got in line right at 10:00 and used the left pathway to get all the way to the front of the line, and once the doors opened, beelined for the elephant section, my favorite!! I looked around for Emilie, the girl I knew off tumblr who works theater ops there, but didn’t see her around and we waited for the show to begin.

That, hands down, is my favorite Elephant leader. Obviously the principal cast changes out, and you get such a random mix of them daily, but I’ve seen him the most, and he just adds SO MUCH spunk and hilarity and humor to the role than anyone else and it’s really just awesome, probably another reason why I love the elephant section so much.

I always have a little bit of emotion near the beginning of the show, it’s all quiet, the animals come out and it’s mysterious, what’s gonna happen, then BAM EVERYTHING COMES TO LIFE all around you and the entire THEATER is transformed into an amazing spectacle of talent and people and monkeys and IT’S INCREDIBLE. The tumble monkeys are just a blast to watch because they’re SO FUN and I honestly wish I had the muscles they did lol! Be prepared is one of my favorite parts for the dancers because it’s so different from any other parade/show where they get to have this attitude and darkness to them.

And then there it comes…Can You Feel the Love Tonight…well..clearly…I had been keeping an eye on the girl bird since they came out in the opening. When she took her seat on the elephant during Be Prepared I noticed she was actually both taller, and a little older than I remembered, but we’d see… There are two of them that look somewhat alike, but there was something that was telling me she was going to be incredible…. Well…I WAS SO FREAKING RIGHT. THIS GIRL! I have seen her before, and she’s in my top two, but this performance she completely blew me out of the water, everything she did was done with such ease and amazing ness and she was incredible. I later found out from Emilie that her name was either Rachel or Nicole…Emilie got it wrong when we talked, but messaged me to tell me which one was right, and now I can’t remember lol! There are two of them who you notice their nose is a little on the bigger side first, she’s one of them.

The second time around I videoed the dance…same cast…here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4-UraWjRko

BLOWS MY MIND.

Anyways, as much as I love the bird dance, it just gets better from there! During the dance/sing along, there was a person in a wheelchair, or with some kind of special need and Steven nearly started crying to because of his emotions. Naturally, during the whole bird dance and first rendition of Circle of Life he was constantly turning to me going “are you gonna cry?” bahaha! I knew from the moment the singer started the intro that I would be, SHE WAS AMAZING.

Fast forward to the actually finale, I knew I was gonna be a wreck… the medley starts with Hakuna, then Can You Feel, I just Can’t Wait, and then Circle of Life…the SECOND that she started singing the Circle of Life, her voice just absolutely echoed and vibrated through the room, seriously filling every single inch of space that there could be…..and I lost it…First time I have actually uncontrollably cried…tearing up now thinking about how incredible it was.

#seriously

I’m not talking like, bawling, but there were tears steadily falling, usually it’s just I tear up, or one tear or something, but there was something magical in that room that day. The show has never been better, it topped last November, and I was seriously amazed. The dancers were SPOT ON and the best I’d ever seen, the singers were BEYOND amazing, even though my favorite monkey wasn’t there, they were still hilarious. And the movers, they were all so into it and so enthusiastic and everything put together, well, the moment the singer started off that song, it was just so monumental and incredible that I couldn’t deal with LIFE.

During the middle of all this we totally noticed that the Giraffe mover went into the back to get the spinning bird prop and came out without her headpiece on…whoops!!

We made our way out of the theater, and no joke, got right back in line. If I had to say goodbye to FOTLK for the next six or more months, I was going to do it right! HUGELY LUCKILY for us, the principal cast in the second showing was THE SAME. (singers, monkeys, birds, fire dancer). Paige and Steven asked to sit in a different spot, so we moved to Giraffe, and that’s when I took the video, also when I spotted Emilie, as she started later that day, and we chatted.

The show wasn’t QUITE as amazing this go around, but I was still reeling off the last one, and the vocals were even better now that they were warmed up. We did have a different group of movers and the girl zebra who was directly in front of our section for most of the show was super tall, and not into it at all, which wasn’t cool, but whatever, it was still INCREDIBLE. In the finale, when the bird was flying, we noticed something go a little wonky. Steven said they pulled her up WAY to fast and she started spinning way out of control, I just saw her flail a bit, and then grab onto the wire with her hand and pull herself up parallel to the wire. I was a little scared for her life, and she may or may not have hit a light fixture…. #dayinthelife.

Guys…I seriously can’t talk about FOTLK enough. I’m SO SAD that it’s going to be gone for a while, but at least it’s not closing permanently. I’m also glad that the facility will be much better according to what I’ve heard. I am super sad to see it go for now, but I know that many of the mover performers will be leaving as well, and with people leaving….comes more auditions. I’m absolutely determined to get in this time, this show means the WORLD to me and to get to be a part of it would be BEYOND amazing. I’m still a little hesitant to go to the Bird Equity Dance auditions, as I will be competing alongside some of the dancers who have done the show already, but we’ll see what the new year brings…

Okay…it’s been TWO PAGES of me rambling about my favorite thing in the world and no pictures…SORRY!

Tears still in my eyes, I walked out of that theater thinking I’d never be in it again, and we slowly made our way over to Africa! We had to check in for LUNCH! Originally I had booked us in at Yak and Yeti, but realized a buffet was more worth the money! Lol. We checked in and got our picture super quickly!

We waited….and waited…and waited…and waited…or so it felt like. It was getting to be super hot out, and we were hungry, which made us hangry, thank goodness it wasn’t long til our name was called. The cast member escorted us into our table in the very back room, and our server actually took a while getting to us. We each ordered a water and an all natural lemonade to drink, and TOOK OFF to the BUFFFEEETTTTT.

Both my plates…what can I say, I love food….top plate consists of: mashed potatoes with gravy, corn dog nuggets with ketchup, some curry chicken and rice dish, a pickle, some ham, and some salad. I know there’s some other food hiding under the top layer! The second plate is clearly an Uncrustable and some mac and cheese, two delicious noms.

We were at Tusker House mainly for the food, the characters were really an added bonus, so I don’t remember much from the interaction, I know Daisy was in and out faster than anything, and I believe Goofy was the best!

I also feel like we may have missed a character? I feel like usually Minnie’s there? Or there’s one more? Who knows!? Over all we all enjoyed everything, the food at Tusker is SUPER tasty and delicious and I love that there’s a bit more African styled foods than your regular buffet, it’s definitely not one I do for the characters, I just really love the food! Steven got a bit overwhelmed with having two drinks…didn’t know which one to drink…

Heh heh. The server took a while to get the bill for us, and Paige was nice enough to pay for my lunch as I’d paid for her trip bahaha! We slowly, very stuffed and suffering food coma’s, headed out of Tusker House. It had been a successful lunch, and we had another park to get to!

You guys ready for this!? It was around two in the afternoon, and we were headed to our second park…and about to experience fast pass plus for the first time! HOW WOULD IT WOOOORRK!?! Steven Paige and I were super excited as we approached the Hollywood Tower Hotel and eagerly attempted to check in…and this is where the problems began. Paige and I had no problem, our Mickey’s went green and we went on through! Steven tried, and his went blue…a NO GO…weird that it’s blue and not red…or at least something more different from green… *pondering* The CM working the fast pass line ended up sending us all the way down to where the fast pass distribution was to “get it fixed”. We ended up having to wait in a short line and deal with someone attempting to interrupt us before we finally got to the front, where I simply showed the cast member that we all had fast passes booked, and she did something in the computer that would make it work at the kiosk.

I later found out that really all you need to do is have that screen on your phone and if the cm at the podium sees it, they can change it themselves, I think this cm was just being lazy, and it took us a while longer to get through to the fast pass line. Soon enough though, we were zipping down 13 stories screaming our heads off!

As you can see we were lucky enough to get front row seats in the elevator! Downside of that being that when you get to the bottom to unload, cast members like to jump out when the doors open to scare you…hilarity at its best! The three of us moved on out of the hotel and around the corner to a wild ride with Aerosmith! And no, I did not partake. I feel like we went through the standby line, didn’t wait too long, and then I made my way through the chicken exit and waited around for the other two to meet up with me! They both had a blast with the rock in rollers, and we made our way over to something a little more my musical taste…any guesses?!

Duh….Belle today was looking like she certainly had a familiar friend I follow on the instagram, which was exciting. However I am missing my favorite one from Sept, although I have the feeling she’s moved on. I saw a couple of posts about some singers leaving, and haven’t seen her, or pictures of her since September…sad day it is!

As soon as the Bimbette’s were out on stage, the three of us kind of all had the same reaction…there was DEFINITELY a difference with one of them, a noticeable one, and it wasn’t a weight gain…it was all in one area… #awkward. She then at one point flipped her ponytail over her shoulder and I spotted a TATOO!! I’m NOT KIDDING!! The girl had clearly tried to cover it with make up, but either it wasn’t effective, or she didn’t re apply between shows…like…not impressed…

That’s my attempt at capturing the tattoo on film, which proved to be difficult. In person you could see it easily in this costume, but with the lighting on camera it’s a lot harder so see. I definitely understand why Disney doesn’t want visible tattoos, it looked super tacky, especially in something like Beauty and the Beast… It also makes me sad as that girl was one of my favorite dancers, but with the enhancements and the obvious tattoo, it just took away from the performance a lot, it wasn’t great…all of us are still finding it hilarious…

Luckily, Gaston and Belle were both proving to be great in this show! Belle was doing fantastic, the acting was actually decent, which is a nice change, and she sang well. Gaston I’d seen before, and he’s always great!

The death scene today was super hilarious, I’m not really sure if it was just seeing it with Steven, or if it was the way the Beast was toppling around and then kinda slowly and carefully sat himself down that made me laugh harder, but it was a funny time!

Definitely an experience of a show to remember! And like no other! Bahaha!! After the show we discussed what we wanted to do before our next fast pass window opened up and Paige requested the Great Movie Ride! She really wanted to ask for the cowboy side, but the timing didn’t work out with where we stopped in the line.

The ride was…interesting…to say the least….We got the gangster side, as usual, and the guide…well…acting wasn’t her fortay. Luckily, we found it hilarious. When the gangster came out and the guide was all “oh no, please don’t shoot me” she put on this like, pout-ey lipped, “I’ve been a bad girl” kind of quality into it and it was WEIRD, but funny. The gangster clearly didn’t care, and the best part came….he shot back at the people shooting at us and then said into the mic “I’m going to make my great escape”

….and then we proceeded to CRAWL out of the room…like…GOING SLOWER THAN ANYTHING, I CAN’T EVEN WALK THAT SLOW. Problem is, I’ve never noticed that before, Steven, Steven noticed it and immediately said “Really? This is your great escape?” And we proceeded to burst into a fit of giggles..pretty sure there were tears….thank goodness we were seated at the back of the car!

For the record… it has become a thing….Steven will be driving me home, and be all “hold on, I’ve got to make my great escape” and proceed to do like, 1 km/h down the street. We had plans to go on the Tomorrowland Speedway next trip and make our great escape…it shall be awesome.

The three of us made our great escape from the Chinese Theater and around the corner to MUPPET STUDIOOOSSSSS. My great friend Kermit, always a good green man to see! Luckily, we weren’t stuck there like Waldorf and his friend…

I made a “must stop” at the Christmas Shop back there as I’ve been searching for the Princess Shoes, but mostly, RAPUNZELS! AND THEY HAD IT!! I of course freaked out, and had to buy 3 as they come with a bit of a discount if you buy 3… I also debated getting the Rapunzel shoe for Amanda, the girl I auditioned with in May and June. She had been searching for it too, but I didn’t know if she’d found it or not, so I decided to leave it for now.

ALL THIS EXCITEMENT WAS MAKING ME HUNGRY!

That’s a Carrot Cake Cookie from the Writer’s Shop if you’re wondering….it was pretty good, not my favorite, the icing was a little sweet, and without the icing the cake was a little bland. See, I usually end up scraping the icing off my cupcakes now if it’s too sweet for me, and just eating the cake. Oh well, I tried something new!!

Approaching our fast pass window, we headed over to Pixar Place to hit up Toy Story Mania!! We, once again, had problems with Steven’s, but I knew it advance to pull it up on the app and we were in right away! BOY was I glad to have the FP plus system today! I really enjoyed the fact that we could go to one park in the morning, and still know we were getting on headliners at another park in the afternoon!

Getting onto the ride proved a bit of a tiff between our group as we all had the “I don’t want to ride alone” opinion, and honestly, I don’t remember who ended up riding alone… But I know I scored well!!

Not my best, but we’re getting there! Lol! Now that all the rides were done, I THINK, the other two may have run onto RnR again, and then, using our fast passes, we got in line for Fantasmic!!

Now…here goes the rant…

DON’T EVER FREAKING USE FANTASMIC AS A FAST PASS

IT IS A HUUUUGE RIP OFF AND WASTE

No joke. In the time that our fast pass window opened, the lines were already open for everyone else. We simply walked through a shorter queue (where yes, Steven’s fp didn’t work at first…) When we got into the ampitheater, we asked a couple CM’s where the fast pass plus section was, and they simply told us to keep moving down, we ended up WAY out to the far side of the stage, in the Jafar section. It was a piece of POOOOPPPPP. Like, just no. JUST NO. The roped off section is for the dining package, fast pass plus DOES NOT get you in early, nor does it get you a special section like World Of Color, it simply takes you down a shorter queue than the standby area.

Needless to say, none of us were impressed, and we had still been surrounded by a mush of rude and obnoxious people the entire time. Once we had gotten our seats claimed, I made a mad dash for the snack stand nearest and grabbed a box of popcorn to share, and a MUCH NEEDED beer… #notimpressed I ended up choosing a “blue” something beer, I don’t remember, but it had blue in the name, and it was actually super tasty, a little fruity tasting too. Paige did share some of it once I was back at our spots too!! We both promptly warned Steven that there would be tears at the end of the show, and we reviewed our plans that once Maleficent was defeated, we’d start exiting and watch the finale from the back of the grandstand..WE HAD PLACES TO BE!

That second picture gives you an idea of how far off to the side we were! The show was awesome, as usual, it was crowded, and there was a group of annoying girls beside us who were fangirling over everything and being SUPER LOUD about it, and when they were pointing out to things, they nearly hit Paige in the face a few times…not cool…

As planned, Maleficient was defeated, and we started to creep our way up the stairs, but once that boat was comin around the bend we stopped, I teared up, but Paige was full on crying, Steven still claims it was FAR worse than me at FOTLK earlier in the day, but who knows?! The finale was incredible, duh, my favorite part is when Mickey pops up on the mountain at the end and is just SO HAPPY and the GOOD imagination HAS WOOONN… Also..Walt…his imagination…he created all of this…Fantasmic really is a celebration of everything Walt did. Thank you Uncle Walt!

Show over, Paige, Steven and I sped walked towards the entrance of the theater, and once we were on a relatively empty pathway, broke into a run, we had to make it to Magic Kingdom in time for Wishes if we wanted to see the fireworks this trip! I was determined.

Obstacle: cab don’t come right up to the park…WHOOPS! We jumped on the tram, and took a grand adventure on it to the second stop and then continued our RUN over to the cabs area. Seeing that we were clearly in a hurry, a man came out to us and was all “you need a cab, come this way” and within a second, another guy was yelling “HEY! NO!” And guided us away from the first driver…something in my gut told me to follow the second guy, and was very relieved when he lead us to a clearly marked cab with a company I’d used before.

The first guy was clearly trying to scam us….or possibly abduct us and we’d wake up in Mexico with no kidneys, but hey, whatever floats your boat! Luckily, we were safe, and even Yeti was buckled in for the ride!

Where I last left off we were on one heck of an epic adventure, a race against the clock, battling with cabbies who might take our kidney’s out, and how were we doing?! Well, our friendly and awesome cabbie dropped us off at the Contemporary and after quickly walking through the bag check, we were into the Magic Kingdom and we had made it for 8:30!! HECK YES WE DID IT! AND WITH TIME TO SPPAAAAARRREEEE..

It was exciting! Since I had facetimed Paige while watching Wishes from back in New Fantasyland, she was insistent on watching from back there, so we made our journey a little bit longer, and even stopped in at Gaston’s for a FEAST of food, which once we placed down on a garbage can lid, Yeti promptly dove in.

We each got a Lefou’s Brew, and then two orders of the hummus and pretzel chips and one of the giant cinnamon buns that I’d been dying to try. We pretty much all shared…cept for Yeti…he’s kind of a hog… Not long into our feast, Wishes began, and it was just as magical and amazing as ever, and let me tell you, watching it back there is great! The fireworks are going off all around you and it really is a sight to see!

Halfway through the show, I did decide that I wanted to run over to Liberty Square, just incase a certain friend was hanging out over there tonight, and I didn’t want to miss the last set if he was! Steven, not one for fireworks, especially from that angle, came with me, and Paige said she’d make her way over when the show was done. She met up with us pretty quickly when the show was over and not long after that, the royal couple we were waiting for came on out!

I wasn’t sure to be embarrassed or excited when Tiana exclaimed that she knew who I was and asked where I’d been hanging out, it was actually really nice to chat with her for a change! Bahaha! While taking the picture, Naveen prompted us to all “say ribbet!” and when no one did “you did not say ribbet...” Which was kind of hilarious as he used the exact same schtick last September when Paige and I were there…. (And no, the friend I was hoping would pop up wasn’t there that night, but I also knew that he drives parade floats for Boo To You so I wasn’t expecting to see him).

Meet and greet over, we decided to spend the extra magic hours that we had at the Magic Kingdom to play as much as we could! YAY RIDES! We hit up Space Mountain,

Pirates of the Caribbean;

took a spin with the happy haunts at the Haunted Mansion, and made sure to hit up DUMBOTOWN with NO LINES!

Thankfully there were no lines, and we each took our own Dumbo, and a stupid amount of silly pictures/videos while we were on the ride!

I liked the subtle touches of the peanuts on the ride as well! The smells of delicious treats brought us into the gift shop, where we ended up only trying on a few silly hats and then making our way out again;

The ultimate of derp…

I know we did also hit up the Jungle Cruise as I LOVE it now, and it was closed in September, and this is when the puns really got to be too much for Steven, although he did say he’d ride it again next trip. Lol.

The night had been fun, successful, and most importantly, the end of a VERY long and tiring day! After finishing up the rides, we decided we should probably head back to Art of Animation, we had yet another big day ahead of us, and the park was beginning to close up!

G’night folks! Do stay tuned for the next day, it’s the most full, and has some hilarious stories!!

I don't know why, but those Hippo photos are flat out comical looking.

HAHAHA, I think that Zebra is auditioning for the Jungle Cruise.

Well you were just there, but I saw some recent photos of the new show building and from the outside it looks pretty darn nice and fits in perfectly with Africa.

Oh, and also it is SO AWESOME, that this show continues to affect you the way it does. Don't ever lose that. And on an only slightly related note... Why can't there be multiple WISHES each day?

Oy Blue. :( That used to be my fav colour until FP+.

And speaking of FP+.. for Fantasmic... well I just want to write a bunch of curse words.

Nice... Fantasmic and Wishes in the same night. Love it!! I am going to pull of the tri-fecta some day.

I think I need a nap after reading about that day!!!

Ahahaha, i'll bet! It was quite the day!!

Ahahaha, yes!

BAH! Oh my goodness, that is hilarious!

I KNOW!! A friend (who just got the call to be trained on it! :cheer2:) sent me a photo of the old theater completely demolished (rip old folk theater) and some of the new one after he worked dak the other day!!

I cannot WAIT for opening day, IMMA DIE

That would be insane…and cost so much money bahaha!!

The trifecta would be awesome!!

Hey ya'll! I'm super speeding through this so I can start on Dec's trip report, and then actually have time to work on May's when the time comes! So don't miss the 3 updates above this from our master park hopping day!!

Happy Thursday!!

***********
The next morning, exhausted as we were, we were out the door as QUICKLY as we could, especially since our wake up call didn’t go off! Luckily, I always have a back up set on my phone just in case! After getting ready I took a RUN down to the gift shop/front desk to deal with some last minute stuff, and ended up taking a bathroom break, which was great as the art in AoA’s bathrooms is just great! Lol!

The three of us got up and ready and managed to make it to Magic Kingdom for 8:45, just in time for rope drop!

The dancers were all awesome as per usual this morning, but it was when the train pulled up and the Tremaines showed up that things really got entertaining!

Like…Lady Tremaine was SPOT ON, and Drizella was just clearly not impressed with having to see this many people this early…

Meanwhile, on the other side of the station, this was going on:

There ya go…a little better now…Time for the countdown and to open the park!! Turns out Peter was still having a little trouble with that…

Good thing Alice and Wendy were able to help out with that…

Seriously, the Tremaines today were amazing, absolutely insane, and I highly suggest either: watching ONLY them the next time you’re at a rope drop show, or even just looking up a video because they were just amazing, and Lady Tremaine was like, winning life HARDCORE, it was PERFECT! And after witnessing the greatest rope drop show of life, we made our way down Main Street to the most perfect place…

I don’t think we really had solidified plans on where to go, but when you’re given an opportunity to walk through a castle, you take it!
Also this view…

Apparently an adventure through the 100 Acre Wood was the first thing that was on our minds today, and hey, it’s always a nice journey to go on! A little hunny is always great!

After our hunt for some delicious smackerels of hunny with our friend Pooh Bear, it was time for a big part of today, and Steven’s must do, to meet Peter Pan, both is favorite and who he was Disneybounding as, so we started to cross through Fantasyland, only to be distracted by those amazing ladies that put on the best part of the rope drop show that morning! Naturally, we put a hold on Peter and got in line for the Tremaines!

I only have one picture from this interaction, but it was probably the BEST interaction, OF ALL TIME! We walked up and I recognized the friend of Drizella’s from some other trip reports/Instagram, which made me even more excited! She was still kind of making a face from the last set as we walked up, and Steven commented “I can make that face too” and proceeded to make it, it was one of those lovely ones that you do to see how many chins you have!

Drizella got SUPER excited about it and proceeded to count how many chins Steven had, versus how many she could make and proclaimed that they could make chin babies, and thus the chin love was born! Over on the other side of the meet and greet, Lady Tremaine got all excited and pointed at me saying “I SAW YOU from the train station!” and we started talking about the rope drop show and how incredible fabulous they were in the show, and Lady Tremaine started to teach us how to wave. You were to swing your arm up once so that it was extended up at a little bit of an angle and then proceed to wave with just your hand…. We may have been dying of laughter and even more during the entire thing.

Sometime during the meet, Lady Tremaine and Anastaisa started singing about what was going on or something and all I really caught was Lady T singing, and when she finished Anastasia simply said “I was playing the air flute”

Needless to say, it was probably the greatest meet of the trip thus far, and hands down my favorite interaction with Lady Tremaine and Drizella. The two friends hanging with them that day were BEYOND amazing and my absolute favorite, that’s for sure! We all waved good bye, still full of laughter and made our way to the other side of Fantasyland to jump in line for Peter and Wendy!

They were super awesome and played around with each other and us a whole lot, and when Paige got a video for a friend back home, they asked if she was stuck in the camera, and Wendy hoped the friend didn’t get caught by pirates, although Peter hoped she did!

With one random meet and greet, and Steven’s main meet of the day, we moved on to whom I was Disneybounding as, and he was just over in New Fantasyland!

Gaston was lovely enough to comment on how colorful and bright we all were, and stated that he must be my favorite, and I said he was, that when I was little my Mom said I’d never be Belle I’d be one of the Bimbettes! Lol.

After the group picture he insisted that we get one alone and of course, had to show off our muscles for it!

It was a fantastic meet, and I’m VERY sad to report back that I AGAIN COMPLETELY forgot to get a picture in his chair in the tavern in my Disneybound #sadface. We spent some time kinda wandering through the park and ended up over in Agrabah!

We met them….lol…that’s about it…Jasmine didn’t seem too into it, and well…Aladdin didn’t seem to into Jasmine….guess our character luck had run out for the morning! Bahah!

I still haven't met the Tremines yet but its going on the top of my to do list for next time. The picture with them is too funny.

Ahh that is totally my Anastasia from December!!!!! Too ridiculously pretty to be "Ugly".

Main street from the castle view -------->

Banging off the character meets Katt. Never a wasted (or dull) moment.

Oh goodness you have to meet them!! They are seriously perfect!! There is one friend of Driz's who's literally been there forever and she's honestly a b****, like for real, but everyone else I've met has been great, and this friend of Lady T's is definitely the best!!

Steven is cracking me up here!!! :rotfl2: I bet he was a blast to have along on this trip!!! Yep, he's a keeper!!! :lmao:

Ahahah, it' just gets better!!

Main street from the castle view -------->

Banging off the character meets Katt. Never a wasted (or dull) moment.

I know right?!?! She's gorgeous!!!

Ugh, one day, one day I'll be out on that castle stage!

Lol, that's what we do!

Where I last left off we had a less than great meet and greet with Aladdin and Jasmine, but we were headed over to the hub next, I mean, we had to make some wishes and hope our dreams came true sometime, right!? Obviously, Paige and I love Dream Along With Mickey, it’s much more a staple for her than I, but I do really enjoy it and love to catch it when I can! Added bonus of today!! It was going to involve a new Dismeet! I have been chatting on tumblr with a friend for ages now, who also loves the show, and has auditioned for it a few times, and most recently got in to do parades with Disney in the new year, super exciting! We had attempted to meet up before but always managed to just miss each other, so when he said he’d be in the parks that day, and at Dream Along the same time as us, I was obviously keeping an eye out for him!

Before the princesses even made their entrance, I turned slightly to check over my shoulder to see if I could see Quintin, and he was standing right there! SO AWESOME! We chatted a little bit and continued to watch the show too. It was super fantastically awesome to finally be able to meet him after getting to know each other through tumblr, he’s awesome, and I can’t wait to see him out in the parades!

I noticed a serious lack in some of my favorites being out on stage today, but the little blonde from previous trips was there, although she looked even tiny-er than last time!

I was also at least attempting to get some different pictures than I had previous trips, always the challenge! Lol.

Cindy was looking FAB, as always today! Lol. After the show Quintin and I chatted a bit more, and we parted ways as he was going to meet up with his other friends, and we were going to stick around the hub for a bit longer, it was time for something else that we loved to start coming around!

Paige, Steven and I promptly took our seats on the benches to the right of the partner’s statue after Dream Along and waited the like, five minutes before we could hear the music being pumped in along Main Street, it was time for some MOVE IT SHAKE IIIITTTTTTTT. Paige and I definitely took the time to warn Steven that there was about to be some SERIOUS dancing going on, and that we wouldn’t lie, we knew it all…

Paige and I like to stand in this spot as it’s easiest to watch all the performers go by on their way around the hub before they come to their stop, scope out who seems like they’d be the best to dance with, and of course, keep an eye out for our stilts friend!! Paige was disappointed to not see him, but I had warned her since he was trained on Boo To You, and that was happening tonight, there was a low chance of him being in MiSi!

Paige and I of course jumped in to dance along, Steven though, stuck to the sidelines and simply vine’d what was going on, he commented that it was kind of insane that we knew all the choreo, but later did say that it was super easy…lol. We conga-ed our way around, and noticed that Frozen had definitely been taking some Latin dance classes recently, it was insane!! When the conga line ended, he grabbed Paige and danced around with her for the rest of the dance party portion! It was SUPER cute and awesome, and we definitely caught it on video!

I wont lie, I was a little jealous, although, I did get my special dance party with Dale in Feb! Lol! It’s always nice and awesome to see Disney people spreading the magic to people who aren’t necessarily six years old, I mean, we’re kids of all ages, right?!

When Move It Shake It was wrapping up, we skipped out on the finale and started to head back to New Fantasyland as we had a fast pass to use, and boy, were we ever glad that it was a fast pass! When doing the fp plus reservations, I had decided I didn’t want to waste valuable early morning park time on Enchanted Tales when I could just book a time for it later on, so that’s what we did! However, we once again, had problems with Steven’s band….It was GREAT to be put straight into the workshop, and we didn’t have to wait like, at all!!

Once in the workshop, things took a turn for the worst, there were SO many people in there, and the cast member started his spiel a little too early, and ended up just talking over everyone while no one paid attention to the things he was saying…awkward. We eventually made it into the library, where the cast members were beyond awesome, there was a girl, around my age, maybe younger, and her poise, posture, movements, mannerisms, and just her look had me wondering why the heck she wasn’t working in entertainment at all…the other CM in the room was super enthusiastic and great with all the volunteers for the show too, so that was good!

Lumiere called Belle in for the big surprise…and it was just not great at all…not good acting, and Belle clearly wasn’t into it at all… Because of this, Steven, Paige and I were definitely whispering, quietly, to each other, and Belle kept GLARING daggers at us, whoops! It was just overall, not so great of an experience, bahaha, we said that we might go back, as long as we knew someone else would be hanging with Belle later…bahah!

Needless to say, we kind of laughed our way out of the cottage and over into the line for Be Our Guest!! The trip was so last minute there was no hope of getting a dinner there, plus, we had bigger things planned that evening, but lunch would still be amazing!

SO PRETTY IN HERE IMMA DIE!! I’m pretty sure that all three of us ordered off the kids menu! I know I did, sticking with my usual Kids Turkey Sandwich with Sweet Potato Wedges and Peach Applesauce, nom nom!

And for dessert, I opted to try something new to me, the “Master’s Cupcake” which was chocolate and the Grey Stuff!

The meal was good, as usual, I do find there’s not quite enough vegetable on the sandwich, but that’s what you get for ordering off the kids menu, lol. The WINNER OF TODAY for food was the CUPCAKE FREAK IT WAS SO GOOOOD! The icing, and filling was made up of the Grey Stuff, and the cupcake itself was super moist and just absolutely delicious and perfect!! YUM!

Like, I will never get over how gorgeous this restaurant is, it was definitely built to perfection and it is amazing. The food never fails me either, despite having some other issues come up in the restaurant, I’ve never had problems with the food, so that’s great! Lol.

Paige, Steven and I headed out of Be Our Guest, I do believe the process of being in line, ordering, eating, and taking our time took around forty five minutes to an hour, it wasn’t too bad! Our next stop, well, it was getting hot out, so we had to get a little wet, right?! Splash’s wait time wasn’t that bad, so we only waited about twenty minutes total, Yeti was all strapped in (kinda…) and excited to get to go on his first official ride!

Since I’d whipped my phone out for the picture of Yeti, I actually decided to take some pictures ON the ride as well!

Which was SUPER lucky as after we went through the laughin place, we got stuck…and the LIGHTS CAME ON!!

You can’t see a lot, but there was a lot of excitement in our log about getting to see stuff with the lights on, you know, Disnerds! We were stopped for like, five minutes, nothing too lengthy, before we were back and moving on up that GIANT HILL before us!

Oh…I forgot to mention…Steven loved the face that he made with Drizella so much that it repeated itself in many of our pictures that afternoon, and trip. He did it for at least one of all the character photos, but usually waited until he knew it was on his phone, so I’m not sure how many of them I have! Lol. One mountain conquered, we had to conquer the other big one, right?! Across the park we went! We did stop for some castle pictures though….

Eventually we made it to our destination in Tomorrowland and the ride was AWESOME!

While we were in Tomorrowland, we noticed that Instagram was getting pretty busy! Haha, we had uploaded pictures from the Tremaine’s meet and greet and let Drizella’s friend know that she was just fantastic! Well, her friend had commented back with us for a bit and asked if we were going to hit up the parade at all! We had some important things to get done this evening….and our plans hadn’t included the parade, so after some debating, we made the call that we wouldn’t be able to watch the parade, and sadly headed out of the park.

The three of you really seem to travel well together, LOVE the silliness in the pictures!!! :cloud9: I continue to kick myself for not going to BoG in September! What was my deal? the grey stuff really DOES look delicious! ::yes::

YAY for Dream Along. I def recognize the "tiny dancer". I always love her expressions and of course your photos.

Oh Good God, if that was the Hook that did meet and greets, I swear I would be traumatized. Seeing that close up photo, just scary!

I will state this right now. If they EVER get rid of Move It Shake It, I will be protesting heavily. So much love for this.

Uh oh, looks like you got on Belle's bad side, lol.

BAHAHAHA, I love the difference between Disney and non Disney people. Non Disney... ticked that the ride stopped. DISNEY PEOPLE... OMG THIS IS SO AWESOME!!! :cheer2:

Yay, I've been reading along for a while and finally caught up! Sure enjoying reading all your adventures. I especially liked your picture of your mom and Anne at Sci Fi Dine In, and the pictures of you, your mom, and Anne at MNSSHP.

Ahahaha, yeah, shes the tiniest little thing!

Ha! He would be quite creepy, I think it'd be okay if they toned it down a bit, but theres something they could do there!

Dear god I would cry and then curl up in a ball and die if MiSi ever leaves!

Yeah…she wasn't too impressed...
