Fridge Swap Closed - Please No Pms

We'll be at ASMusic Oct. 19-28 and would love a fridge if our dates are open.

Sorry I haven't been on top of this the last week, I've been sick and haven't gotten much done. I think I've gotten back to everyone who has sent me a message. The fridge is now paid for and I tried changing the thread title so hopefully it worked and we can get some gaps filled in. The first person is back and said the fridge worked great. I was wondering if you could give us first timers a few tips...since you have come and gone and done it! Was it difficult to pick up? And where did you take it back to? the same place you picked it up? Did you get usage of a luggage cart to haul it to your room? THanks, any info is appreciated!

I made arrangements with the previous swappers to exchange cell phone numbers. They called me when they were done with the fridge and i met them at Asmo. They had the fridge on a luggage cart, but i rented a car so i just loaded it and drove it to Sports. When i was done, I boxed it and put on the reservation info for the next swapper and dropped it off at baggage claim at Music. The funny thing was that the cast member who took it for me asked if it was a fridge. I also got a baggage claim ticket which i took a picture of and sent it to the next swapper. Hope this helps and have a great trip.

I'm glad this is going so good. Were getting ready to leave in two weeks and our girls still don't know, so excited and can't wait. I'm still hoping to fill some of these dates and at the bottom is what we have so far.

I know, because I had to wade through many pages before I could find out who was the DISser who would have the fridge before me

Getting so excited!
How easy/ difficult is it to move this fridge around? Any experiences?

Well, that worked out well- but I didn't even use the fridge! When we got to ASMu, we got upgraded to family suites- we had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker! I just had them keep the fridge in storage for Lisa.

Back home now- but ready to go back!

Hey all,

One month and 3 days to go before I'm on vacation! I will only be at WDW from October 25. However, I will b eon vacation before, which means no internet and no phone for me. Which means... I will need to know before October 17 who will have the fridge after me!

As of this moment, there are days that the fridge won't be used between me and the next person. I hope it fills up before I leave or that it doesn't change anymore after I leave.
Anyone an idea on what to do if someone wants the fridge after I'm not able to read the internet anymore?
I know, still a month to go, but it'll go fast (I hope, I really need vacation!)

Sorry it took so long for me to catch up with this, we got back late Saturday night. We had an amazing trip and can't wait till we can go back again. Meanviking thats great you got upgraded, I was trying to figure out why it was in storage and what a wonderful reason.

We have a two week gap in October we need to fill in and a three week gap we need to fill in for November. If you know anyone that needs the fridge pass the word along.

Akasleepingbeauty I am so sorry about the mix up and I have you down in case the other person decides they don't need the fridge. I somehow misplaced an email and got two of you signed up for the same date.

Here is who I have down for the upcoming months. I'm still trying to get this on the sticky and can't get my emails answered.

Hi everyone. We just got back late Thursday night and funny thing but we were upgraded to the family suite too when we arrived. We originally had that anyway before they made us give it up for free dining.
I did pick up the fridge though. I just let my friend-who was right next door to me- use it. I 've left it for arobeen on Thursday and I think it was picked up before we checked out Thursday morning.

BTW, thanks for the Dr Pepper Lisa!!!

Just to close the loop: I got my info to vern and I'll fill the Oct 11-16th days on the schedule. We check out super-early on the 16th, though, so we could hand it off the night of the 15th at AS Music if someone needs it for a few days before tinkerfairy's time.
