FP+ split stay anomaly...in a good way!

So I was able to make fast passes today.....although I believe according to the rules I should not have been able.

I have a split stay.

2 days at the Poly (room only) 14-15 Nov
4 days at GF MYWP (ddp + tix 6 day) 16-20

I was able to book FP today which is 60 day out from my Room Only Ressie......
I was only able to make FP from the 16th on.

So something is broken. My understanding is I could only do FP plus on the package and 60 days from that stay since my tickets are attached to it......

Explanations? I am totally happy about it since I had to work all weekend...

Disney tweaked this and onsite > onsite opens the complete booking window, but, with packages, you can only book for the package park days.

Wow , glad my OCD made me try it out. So for the first two day, still no love till I goto the park and activate the tix?

Correct. You must wait and then book FPs as soon as the tickets are activated.

Imteresting change, seems they would allow FP for any onsite stays for all days regardless of linked tix......maybe its coming...

I have a RO for 11/24-11/26 and my pakage with FD starts on 11/27-12/6 with 10 day hoppers.
Does this mean I should be to make FP reservations starting on 9/25?
The lock on MDE says 9/28?

Your window will open 60 days prior to 11/24 and you should be able to book for your package dates - not any FPs for your room-only stay.

The system never alerts for the room-only FP window opening. It's preset to alert for packages.
