    Hi All,

We will be in WDW 11/25-11/28 celebrating our anniversary. I really wanted to do something romantic (other than dinner) during our stay and thought a carriage ride through Ft Wilderness would be perfect. But it seems that they don't start offering them until December 1st.

Can anyone tell me if the decorations are likely to be up during our stay? We love love love Christmas decorations and although we are likely to see some great ones (staying at the WL)...

Hi there! Just came across this thread you started but didn't get an answer to. I have the same question and was wondering if you could answer it now since it looks like your trip was last November? I am hoping to do the FW carriage ride on Thanksgiving night and was wondering if any Christmas decorations will be up by then. My little ones would LOVE that! :goodvibes

Most,if not all,of the Decorations put up by the Fort Wilderness campers will be up.:)

The Carriage Rides are offered year-round.:)

The December 1 date must be the date they "convert" the Carriages over to "Sleighs".:)

There is also a fun Wagon Ride around the Fort for only $8.00 per Guest.:)

Oh my gosh! Thanks so much for answering! You made my day. I was able to book our Thanksgiving Day carriage ride this morning (probably around the same time you were responding, it looks like). It'll be fun either way. But, Christmas decorations up will be a major bonus! :cool1:

    You're welcome!:)

The amazing decorations put up by the Fort Wilderness campers are a "hidden gem" of the Holiday Season at WDW!:)
