I booked Mom and I a trip in Jan 2012. 8 nights, 8 day park passes, at a moderate resort, value season rates with free dining for $2100. (I rounded off) We have not booked airfare yet, but it is running about $480 per person with all fees included. We'll be paying OOP for 4 sit down meals as well and those will be an additional $200. So our grand total for a week for 2 adults at POFQ resort is $3300. Of course we will have a sit down meal every day, and 2 signature meals too. My previous trip was at a value resort for 7 nights, 8 days, value season rates, airfare included and free quick service dining for 2 adults it was $2200.

Pretty good, considering our vacation budget was $2500 for this trip. The other money will go for tips (6 sit down meals, 3 of which are character meals), BBB for our youngest (bringing our own dress and accessories purchased from Disney Store on sale this summer- she hasn't seen it yet), parasailing adventure for our oldest (a surprise for her, using a coupon) and pick a pearl (for both of my girls probably).

Edited to add that we could have upgraded to POFQ for around $160 and I was seriously tempted. Both of my girls, however, the teenager as well as the 4 year old, really wanted to stay at POP because they said it looked like more fun so we decided not to and are staying at POP and we can't wait!

February 5-20, 2012
2 adults, 2 children (4 and 6 but we've upgraded the 6 year old to 10 because he loves to eat)
15 nights 1 bedroom Old Key West
Free DDP
14 day UK ticket (so a parkhopper with the waterparks and Quest included)

Not counting airfare, it's about £3600, so around $5800 right now. Converting is always a little tricky.

We're using miles to fly, but still have to pay taxes and fees for those "free tickets". That's not cheap. We've already got annual trip insurance and we're still debating renting a car. We're definitely doing Sea World too, but tickets and food there aren't included in the cost above.
