My 3 year old daughter has multiple food allergies. Just some background she has a rare condition called FPIES; her reactions are all gastrointestinal and she does not need an epi pen. She is allergic to: Milk, egg, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, coconut, peas, great beans, avocado, banana, watermelon, corn and oats.
We have been assigned the later dinner time which is fine with me, because I had a plan... Feed the kids early, go to the show, and then drop them off at the kids club, so that my husband and I can have dinner alone.
My question is has anyone utilized room service for a kid with food allergies?
My thinking was if we plan meals ahead with the chef or dinning manager do they care where it is delivered? Especially if I want it before the main dinning times.
Does this plan make sense to anyone else?
Also has anyone received help with off ship dinning? I have read that the chef has been known to send a special meal to cast away cay as the grill can not accommodate food allergies.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated because this is of great concern to me!!!
