Why is the FOF parade FP in such high demand? I understand it is a must for most(our family included). Is it possible to stake out a decent spot 30 min prior to Parade, without a FP? Any info on the actual FP area for FOF parade? Is it worth it? Sorry for all the questions..

The FoF starts at 3:00PM deep in Frontierland (near Spalash Mtn.,) and the head of the parade does not even reach the FP+ area until nearly 3:30PM.

The parade-viewing FP+ area is out in the direct sunlight.

A great non-FP place to watch all parades without having to grab a spot "too early" is near Hall of Presidents or deep in Frontierland (near Spalash Mtn.)

1. Like HulkBuster said, it's more low supply than high demand - there's a lot fewer FPs available for a parade versus a ride which can probably have thousands available per day.

2. Absolutely. Frontierland would be the better choice for a 30 minute wait than Main Street though.

3. It's by the flagpole on Main Street when you first enter.

4. Worth is subjective. I would imagine the reason that most people get it is to have a guaranteed spot.

How is the view from the FP+ space? Squished? Rows? Elbow Room? Easy visibility for little ones?

Thank you for the kinds words, DatFan.

So nice of you to say!

We went in mid-June. Cooled off in the candy shop in Frontierland until about 5 minutes before the parade started. We were able to stay under the awning and had a great view that was shaded!
