We arrived at the Magic Kingdom to find the new slogan adorning the Entrance!
It was time to Let the Memories Begin!
We headed inside the park and could feel the magic all around.
However, before we could really have fun, we required a quick detour.
Stopping at City Hall, we upgraded our tickets to Annual Passes.
Mom and I had some plans for the rest of the year and realized this would save tons of money.
J even upgraded his ticket to a park hopper so he could keep up with us.
By now, the kids were going crazy waiting around in City Hall this close to all that fun!
Finally, we headed out onto Main Street.
And up to the hub.
Gotta love that majestic Castle.
It just puts a smile on your face.
This pic even got some birdies flying by!
Now it was time for our first stop.
And some of you guessing got close.
The clue was on our clothes you just kept choosing the wrong mouseketeer.
We were headed to... ADVENTURELAND!
If you checked out the Princess wardrobe, you may have noticed a certain under the sea princess.
She had been recently evicted from her Grotto only to land in a nearby Veranda.
However, when we arrived at said Veranda, there were no mermaids to be found.
They would, however, return shortly so Mom got on line while the rest of us found other ways to pass the time.
First stop was over to Jungle Cruise to snag some fastpasses for later.
J took the kids for a pitstop while I secured our tickets.
And then begins one of the Firsts from the title as none of the kids had ever been here before.
We headed across the way to the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.
To recap a bit, before our adventure, we spent the last several months watching Disney movies on the weekends.
One such movie was Swiss Family Robinson just for this purpose.
With that memory still in their heads, the kids understood just what we were looking at.
I imagine if we hadnt, it would seem rather random for a treehouse to be sitting here in Walt Disney World.
I wonder what the other children think when they see it.
Anyway, with Mom saving our place on line, the rest of us headed off to see what life might be like stranded on a deserted island.
X was so excited to be in Walt Disney World.
He was even smiling for all the pictures!!!
I dont think I ever noticed this coat of arms before
The kids liked the working water wheel.
It reminds me of the scene in Pirates of the Caribbean now.
And the views were spectacular!
And the branches are so large!
But finally we reached near the top and found the boys room
And the Library
Just like in the movie, the family organ was situated in the common area.
And sure enough, it was playing
Swisskapolka.
The family must be expected back soon.
There was fresh fruit out on the table.
Mr. Robinson must have just finished recording the days events.
He left the Ships Log out on the desk.
Next was the kitchen.
Theres some really cool stuff in here.
Looks like it might be time for lunch!
