Hi! Just curious to hear thoughts on the show. Is it good? We thought we might put our DD (3.5) to bed shortly after dinner so she can start the cruise well rested, but I don'twant to miss it if it is a good one. I dint find much about it online. Thanks!!

I wasn't impressed. It's about a family with teens who try to convince the kids that DCL is cool, but the dad in the show is such a doofus, if real passengers had a bored teen wasn't thrilled about going on a Disney cruise, the show would just re-enforce that opinion.

It's okay but if you are going to pick a couple to miss, do that with the first and last shows.

The first night show is OK. If you wan to put your DD to bed you can watch the show in your stateroom on TV. That way you don't miss the show and get the fresh start you wanted. :)

It's ok....parts of it I just had to "rest my eyes" & have my kids point & laugh at me! I sound so old! It does help you choose what you'd like to see during the week though!

They have a "show" (the cast performers and main Disney characters) that intermixes with information from the cruise director, sometimes the introduction of some officers and short snips of entertainment from the upcoming entertainer(s) on the ship. I like to attend but I don't have small children. This is one show you could avoid and not really miss a lot. And as noted, they will broadcast to the tv in your stateroom so you could watch it there.

Thanks for all the info! I hadn't thought about watching it from the stateroom - that would be perfect.
