Hi!
We will also be sailing on Feb. 3rd. This is our 7th Disney Cruise. Our family includes myself, my husband and DS (11) and DD (8). Most of our plans are made except I am crossing my fingers that we will be moved to the early dining. We have always had early dinner and when we changed to this date it was full and we had to be wait listed.

We have stayed many times at POR, I really like that resort. If it would have been a DVC property I would have been happy to purchase there. My DD and I are going to stay after our cruise at OKW for a couple of nights. We are using a rental car to get back to WDW. We are getting very excited. We went christmas shopping and found a couple of things for the trip. We are doing all our planning now. We are even doing a test packing so we are limited to 3 bag total between the two of us. We are traveling light this time. What is kind of hard is WDW is colder in Feb and the cruise is warm almost hot, and carring coats/sweatshirts is such a small pain. I guess I shouldn't complain, I am going on a 7 night cruise for goodness sake.

I hope to meet our DIS Board Families on board.

Are there any other kidless couples going on the cruise?
We are DINKs (Double Income No Kids) that love the Magic for the
grown-up entertainment as well as the family stuff. This will be our
third time on the Magic, the second on Superbowl Sunday. I'm a
Steeler fan so I'm having to savor last year. It's still going to be a
blast and I'm glad that this time we are at sea on Sunday. We were
docked at Key West last time and I was really torn between Sunset at
Mallory Square and the Big Game. Mallory Square won and it was a
spectacular sunset.
47 days!! Dang! I missed the Fifty Day Dance!!!

By the way, we're in Cabin 2610 and we're hoping to switch to early dining. A good place to meet when we board the ship is the Mickey statue in front of Luminiere's. We got a group picture taken there on the last cruise.

Yes, ice hockey! We enjoy going to Columbus Blue Jacket games and Ohio State games. This is our DS's fourth year of playing travel (he is a goalie) and our DD plays "house" hockey. As a matter of fact, we were scheduled to sail in Janurary, but it conflicted with a tournament so that is how we ended up in Feburary. I am sure you understand!

we decided not to tell the kids on Christmas! I can hardly stand it! We took the kids to my hubbys workmChristmas party just for employees kids(no adults aloowed). It gave us an idea of how they are going to repond tomthe kids groups. dd4 will probably spend less time than ds 8.
Does anyone have any tips to share? I have never been on a cruise so I am only packing 1 "fancy" dress. or is that high seas nono!

hi Vic23, here's my little piece of advice: Get one of those back of the door organizers, the kind with all the see through pockets so you can hang it up and keep all your toiletries and other items organized and off the (tiny) sink counter.
Just got off our 7 day Carnival cruise so I'm totally in cruise mode! Being back on land is only a temporary exile.

Thats great idea! My hubby and I were joking at dinner we may have to cancel our excursions just to cover the bar bill!!The kids don't even know so they won't be sad!
