I accidentally picked up fat free mozzarella for my lasagne I'm making tonight. Can anyone tell me how it will turn out or should I make another trip to the store?
I don't think it tastes bad, but it will NOT melt well at all. I would return to the store as it will be obvious that something is wrong with the cheese in your prepared dish. (The fat content is responsible for the melting if I am not mistaken...take out the fat and it won't melt.)
