Fastpass ?

In what order do you pick up your fastpasses?
Which run out the earliest and which can you get all the time?

The scene at TSM is unlike anything I’ve ever seen.

We were there on Friday, Nov 6 (fairly crowded day) right as the park was opening. We were on Hollywood Blvd for the rope drop (9 AM). Everyone (at least it seemed like everyone) headed towards TSM. Crowds started forming two lines, one for the standby line and one to get FP’s for TSM (not the FP line for TSM but a line just to get a FP ticket).

The first thing we saw when we got there was the end of the line to get FP’s and we got into it, which is not what we wanted, we wanted to get in the standby line first. Thank goodness the green army men guys were there directing traffic. After about 30 seconds of standing in the wrong line we shifted over to the standby line.

The standby line was already about 30 minutes by this time. When we were done riding TSM I looked at my watch and it was about 9:50 AM. I looked up at the times now being listed for FP returns and it said between 12:50 PM and 1:50 PM. The line for people to get FP’s was still long and not getting any shorter. I decided to get in it and score FP’s for my family. It took 15 minutes to get them and by the time I got them the return time listed was between 1:10 PM to 2:10 PM.

Thanks Jennifer...That is exactly what I wanted to know.

I think I might skip toy story. We have it @ DL now and although it is fun It is not a favorite. ( I like buzz better)

I thought I replied to this yesterday...I probably forgot to hit submit :(

A agree with Jennifer's list, with the possible exception of Voyage Of The Little Mermaid in a general sense as at times it can still fill up. It used to be a MUST GET FASTPASS attraction but I believe it is often a walk on now.

Just keep in mind that some of those at the bottom of the list may not offer Fastpasses at all on a particular day, and even if they do you probably don't need them anyways.

Do you think it's necessary to get fast passes if we're going the end of January/first week of February when crowds are lower?

The list that I gave in my post #2 reply in this thread
is the list of FP's that will nearly ALWAYS be very useful,
as those attractions are, by far, the most popular FP attractions with guests.

Here is the list again-

Toy Story Mania

Soarin'

Exp. Everest

Test Track

Space Mtn.

Rock'nRollerCoaster

Remind me again. Of theses rides which have Single Ride?

Thanks everyone for all of your replies. :thumbsup2
