So thank you to all the disboard members who have posted about Concierge area !! We were not disappointed and I am totally spoiled now for a regular balcony room.
What a wonderful vacation on the Fantasy. We arrived at the Port only to be whisked away to Deck 12 and the Concierge lounge. Here we were met with the wonderful staff of Julia, Kimesha, & PJ. They explained all the features of the lounge, services they could provide, and when happy hours were in the lounge. They paid special attention to each and every family that arrived which carried through the week. Every time we entered the lounge for snacks or a beverage they were quick to greet us and ask how we were.
The Fantasy is absolutely breathtaking from stem to stern. There are so many areas to visit and explore. Our room was 12508 and had an oversize balcony. White robes and slippers in the closet, door bell, and large screen tv at the foot of the bed. It was a big surprise when that door bell rang when we ordered room service.
The sun deck for concierge was nice but very warm. We went there to pass through to adult area on deck 13 and attend a couple of happy hour functions. Deck 13 satellite falls was one of my favorite areas to read a book and have a beverage. Great !!
We did two excursions, Costa Maya, visited a small ruin and then had lunch with a Mayan family. They fixed a wonderful chicken dish that we ate on corn tortillas sitting on logs in their yard. In Cozumel we booked the Mexican cooking class and let me say this was so much fun !! Oscar and Moises kept us entertained and we loved the food we cooked from start to finish.
On board the ship I did the fire & ice pedicure in the spa, very nice but not sure worth the price. I also attended the mixology class in Skyline bar. Melissa was the bartender and kept all us rocking and rolling. This was a fun class as we were actually behind the bar making drinks. We took the art of the theme tour which explained some of the themes in Remy's and Palo's along with some great facts about the ship. The kitchen tour was ok, but was hard to hear with the large group that attended.
Fun fact: Front elevators carpet is red, mid elevators carpet is mint green, rear elevators carpet is blue. Stars on the carpet, if one point is facing up you are headed forward, if you see two points you are headed aft.
Entertainment was great, food was good but nothing outstanding, except the chocolate souffle at Palo's. We have both brunch and dinner seatings that the concierge staff arranged for us prior to boarding.
Will try to post a few pictures of excursions soon. If you have any questions will do my best to answer.
