Hello!
I'm so excited for November's "Fantastic Beasts" release and my December trip. I'm really hoping that there is some acknowledgement of the film in the parks, although there is difficulty in that film takes place in another time and another continent than the events of the Harry Potter series. But certainly some cool merchandise might be available?
Well, I've made this thread to be the place for you to post photos and descriptions of anything "FB" happening at USO!

TigerlilyAJ, we were just talking about this last night. We're going to be in the parks the day that Fantastic Beasts is released and plan on seeing it in City Walk. We're hoping that they do something as well. We were in the parks when Fast and Furious came out and they had the cars on display for that. And we were in the parks after Jurassic World came out and they had the Raptors. So we've got our fingers crossed! I will post if we see anything in November.

I saw (uninspired) movie tee shirts at a Hot Topic this weekend, so I should hope that the park can at least muster that much. ;-)

I'm hoping for some American Magic School merchandise Myself. The movie itself looks good and what JK has put up on Pottermore has been very interesting.

@kbelle8995 Exactly! I wanted analogs to all the Hogwarts logo stuff, and that was not there. They took the time to give a history and let you find your house on Pottermore, so c'mon.

I think that if they put anything out. They will do it closer to when to the movie comes out. I think more guests will be requesting this.

I have no inside info whatsoever, but I would guess that Universal wouldn't be able to have any official tie-in, event, or merchandise at all for Fantastic Beasts due to licensing rights. HP/Fantastic Beasts is produced and owned by Warner Brothers, and I would guess that whatever deal was worked out back when Universal paid for the rights to use HP would not automatically include the new series. But, again, I don't have any insider info about all that.
