Express Check-Out and tips

Has anyone done the express check-out? Just got our docs and it says you can request "Express Check-Out" when you use VISA, MC, AMEX, Discover, JCP, Diner's Club and Disney Credit cards. It says an itemized receipt for any incidentals will be deliverd to your stateroom on disembarkment day. It says you won't need to stop at Guest Services before disembarking. Does this mean you don't have to go there to pay tips? If not, how do they know what you want to tip?

Can anyone share their "Express Check-Out" experiences? Thanks in advance.

You can pay for the tips in advance at Guest Services, and they will give you little stubs to put into the envelopes. On th three night cruise, we usually charge them the second night and then add additional money in cash for those who deserve a little extra.
