EXPIRED: Part ONE of 2015 CLUB LEVEL (CL) INFORMATION and HELP Thread DO NOT POST HERE!!!

If you are booking 180 days +, we've always had perfect luck letting IPO handle ADR's.

If you are under 180, then it may be easier to look over options yourself.

the 9am is not an issue. Shhh, but I suspect that IPO's get first dibs over folks who book online.

Isn't that what we're paying to have?

If you need to make a last minute change- MAKE SURE to go through IPO or resort staff! They have added flexibility to help. They can't get what doesn't exist, but they can help more than online or a general number call. Some won't do a lot (esp. less experienced staff), but others have been wonderful (esp. experienced and enthusiastic staff).

CL guests are paying for an added service when it comes to ADR's.

I agree. In all of our trips we have stayed club level. We have never once not gotten an ADR we requested in thirteen 10, 11 or 12 day long trips with TS for almost every breakfast, lunch and dinner. I can count on two hands the amount of times we have eaten counter service-90% of our meals have been TS with the remaining breakfasts either room service or from the various clubs.

CRT-back when it was "impossible" to get-every trip for breakfast-sometimes twice a trip, 'Ohana breakfasts every trip, CG and Le Cellier back when it was also very difficult- every single trip, Illuminations cruises-every trip, Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert parties-same and more recently BOG. I have never been told-not once-that something was unavailable. I know it has been said repeatedly that IPO doesn't have any more pull than anyone else-my experience suggests otherwise. I don't want to argue about it-just to point it out. Even once when we had to cancel last minute and have all of our ADR's booked again for less than 10 weeks out-every single one was rebooked successfully.

Hi everyone, sorry if this has already been asked. Today was my 180 day mark. I emailed the Poly IPO my ADR requests sometime last week, and spoke to them over the phone to give them my credit card details.

I'm just wondering when they are likely to let me know which ADRs/times they secured for me?

I assumed it would be today, but I guess they're closed by now. I'm a little worried because I just checked the availability of an ADR I wanted (Be Our Guest lunch) and it's already fully booked (!) so if they didn't get around to booking them for me today, I'm probably out of luck with that one. I don't know, maybe I'm just being excitedly/nervously impatient?! Can anyone shed any light on how quick they tend to be when making your reservations? And when they usually update you on your itineraries?

Thanks! :goodvibes

Katie-call IPO tomorrow if possible. I had a problem-website wouldn't let me book at 180 days, so I called. BC IPO scheduled all my ADRs for our full stay-6 days @ BC CL and the 3 days @ WL CL while I was on the phone with them. If you haven't gotten what you want, they may be able to check while you are talking to them. That way you get your confirmations and if you have your MDE open at the same time you can see the confirmations as they do them. I also had the good luck one time of AK CL IPO helping me with an ADR I wanted for a day that we were staying at YC and not club level. They can be really great and terrifically helpful!

Has been replaced by this:

This was ALL the food for about 30 people! Except outside this image tiny turkey wrap rolls.(sushi roll size) The back tray is just bread!

Previous visits if any platters ran out, they were quickly replenished. Our most recent visits when these micro meat offerings ran out, they were not replenished. We arrived about 5:15pm to empty platters. One was finally replenished 10-15minutes later, the second was replenished 20minutes later with a lesser item (tiny spinach pies in place of steak).

FYI- the top two pictures of my first post are the two sides of WL - so ALL that food was offered at the same happy hour.
A picture is worth a 1,00 words!

If you go to the top of this thread. most images date to before the cutbacks. I think I can guess which are post cut back.

Wow. If this is what WL CL is now, I might cancel the Club Level from my reservation. :/

Oh nice pics! Thanks! I haven't even seen the dormer style of that room.
That is actually a Deluxe room. A bookable catagory in other rooms but a "luck of the draw" for SL.

Our room was on the 4th floor and because of the roof line, had no balcony but the one on the 3rd and 2nd floor do have a balcony off the turret

to be clear and fair - the top images were from WL, while this image is from AKL. Also, these are not my images, but images posted in the top of this thread. I think the two resorts are roughly comparable in number of CL rooms. I can't find exact numbers online. (maybe 70 CL rooms at AKL ; WL maybe 75 CL rooms, but I can't tell if either total includes suites)

That said, the images are on par with what we saw on our most recent AKL CL and previous WL CL stays.

We've also had multiple CR CL stays, and have direct experience with cutbacks in that lounge.

Hi Erika and everyone! Well we had a "ladies" trip planned for this month. Actually we SHOULD be leaving tomorrow for a week at BWI CL in a deluxe room! But my mom fell and broke her ankle in December and due to her long recovery we pushed the trip back to October- which worked out as we will get to experience Food & Wine for the first time! We are still staying BWI CL Deluxe Room Oct 1-10!
I know that BWI had some refurbishments done not too long ago but there was some talk about some mistakes in the lounge and they were going to re-do it again. Was wondering if that has happened yet or is scheduled to happen.
Anyone have any recent pics of BWI lounge?
Thanks all and nice to catch up on all the posts!!

I hope to stay club level someday!
What I did my first few times was to tack a day on the end of our trip for my daughter and I. Our first was at GF in Sugar Loaf.

We left CBR via taxi at 7:30am. We were escorted right to our room for check in and then headed down for breakfast in the lounge. Next we caught the monorail for MK and came back early for pool time and snacks. Tea time is awesome at 2:30!! Then after 5pm appies we ran back to mk. We came back at 8:30 for desserts and more resort time.

Then in the morning had breakfast again! Our ME was at 2pm and we got a late check out of 1Pm so for us it was worth the money for the experience.

We have also just given our luggage to the resort to transfer. Those trips we took a bus to a park then took the bus from there to the CL resort and checked in at lunch time.

Our last family trip at VGF I did a day prior in SL at GF. We arrived at 9pm and had desserts. The next day we had access to the lounge all day/night even though we had moved over to VGF. That was a good way to make a moving day more pleasurable.

Also, CSR business class is a good option for a starter CL experience. DD and I really enjoyed it especially for the price!

It took us over 30 trips until we tried CL. We got a magical upgrade at CR to a TPV Atrium club room. After you try it you want to do it again.

I'm staying at BC cl in April, at 180 days I tried to book Cape May 5:30 for 7 people. Could only get 5:20, not bad. I called IPO twice and they couldn't get 5:30 either. So I guess you are much luckier them me. I know 10 min is not a big deal, but I'll be traveling with my grandchild who gets cranky when you wake her, 10 min could be a big deal for her.

I'm sorry, maybe I misspoke. I did not mean I got every single exact time I requested, I meant that I always got ADR's for the meal and within, say, a half hour of my requests.

Katie,

Were you able to get your ADR's? We are staying CL for the 1st time and I'm considering having them book for me. But if you didn't get yours I'm not going to!
