I rode Soarin' with Robin Williams. I was in the middle section in the last row and they kept the front row open. About 15 seconds before we were to board a group of suits and Robin Williams strolls up. Robin smiled and waved and then went onto the ride and the rest of us in the section followed to our rows.
On our honeymoon at WDW (2001). We were on the Backlot Tour at HS when the tram stopped and Robin Williams and family jumped in the seats behind us. After the tour, his wife asked me where the nearest washroom was. While I was showing her where it was, my family and her family talked while they waited for our return. Very down to earth and nice people.
Last month we had dinner at CG in the wine room and Chef Robert Irvine was at the table right next to us (the guy from Dinner: Impossible on the Food Network) seem pretty nice, but he was with several other people (including one very intoxicated irritating woman) The best part about the whole thing was after they left, the waiter watched them like a hawk to make sure they didn't see him check what kind of tip they left him. He tried to be so stealthy about it, I guess he forgot about the rest of us who could also see him looking at their bill
FYI for anyone who does watch the show regularly -- YES his muscles really are that big, and yes he does wear tight tight t-shirts all the time
A few years ago I was in the jewelry store in MK and was looking into one of the display cases with a lady and her daughter standing next to me. The little girl bumped into me and the mom had her apologize. I was looking into the display case and not really paying attention and told them it was fine. About that time a man stuck his head in the door and called out, "honey, I'm taking Jett back to the room. Are you guys coming?" I looked up and in shock said "that's John Travolta". The lady laughed and said, "yes, that's my husband", then called out for them to go ahead and they'd meet up later as she wasn't ready to go yet. I had been standing next to Kelly Preston and her daughter and hadn't even realized it. I was so embarrassed and apologized, but she was really nice and just made a joke out of it, saying not to worry about it and it was really her husband who was famous, not her.
Also once I was dining at Crystal Palace with some other DISers when we noticed Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) was sitting right across from us. He was with his family.
On another trip I was with some other DISers when one of them saw some football player. I'm not a football fan and don't remember his name, but she got really excited and said he played for the New England Patriots.
Oh wait a minute! I also saw Nick Lachey (Jessica Simpson's ex husband) a few years ago at Epcot. He wasn't strolling around though. He had a bunch of people around him and was there for some photo shoot. They had him and the camera crew completely blocked where no one could get close to them.
We've never seen anyone famous at WDW, but two summers ago at Disneyland we walked next to David Hasselhoff and a daughter of his on the way from the fireworks over to Fantasmic.
