Ever get stuck on a ride?

I got stuck on RnRC....in the Limo, waiting for take off at the tunnel!
It must have been 20 minutes or so. The screen kept rotating through all the different displays...but didn't get to the part where it says FACE FORWARD...
I was single rider and the teen next to me was trying to wiggle out of his seat...I kept telling him that was not a great idea (could you Imagine it finally launching while you are halfway out of the restraint?).
We did finally take off... The didn't give us anything afterward though...I guess we weren't stuck long enough.

After 38 years worth of visits the first time I got stuck for any length of time was last month on Kilomonjaro Safari. An ostrich blocked the road in front of the jeep in front of us. We sat for 20 + minutes. it was in front of the flamingo pool. I watched the elephants in the distance and then took a nap.

Got stuck in Small World for 30 minutes with the music still playing non stop!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Space Mountain a couple years ago:

The first time I got stuck was on Splash, in 2004 with my DH. There was a terrible back up of logs, we were sitting there for about 20+ minutes, and the music just kept playing, very loud! Then a few CM's came out, I think to make sure everyone stayed sitting, we were not evacuated. The funniest thing was while the music was blaring, someone was trying to talk over the loudspeaker! Of course we couldn't understand anything and just kept laughing! It's a running joke now with me and my DH!

While DH waited with our 2-year-old, DD, older DS, & I were stuck on Splash Mountain for about an hour & 1/2 earlier this month!

We were stuck at the top in the curve that's outside (in the sun) that goes around the big drop.

We kept hearing announcements over the loud speaker, &, once the "prepare for in-show exit" announcement came, everyone else was evacuated pretty quickly - except for us & the log behind us.

Because of how the ride was shut-down, they couldn't get to us because our logs weren't close enough to the walkways.

At first, one of the Splash Mountain castmembers kept coming out to keep us updated. Eventually, the "suits" came out!

One of the maintenance workers was going to help us off, but was quickly told we couldn't get off until they could get our log next to a walkway. We were literally about a foot away - we could have stepped over the gap onto the walkway. But they wouldn't let us, & I understand they couldn't risk any of us getting hurt. But still... it was frustrating to be *thatclose*!

Anyway, we were given water while we waited. And the maintenance guy was able to get to our log to undo our lap bars to make us more "comfortable". He wasn't able to reach the log behind us.

Finally, they did "something to something" :confused3 & were able to get the logs in front of us out of the way, so they could scoot our logs up to the walkway, and we were able to get off! And it was pretty cool to get to walk "behind the scenes" through Splash Mountain.

At the exit, there were more "suits" waiting with multiple fastpasses. At first, I thought we were only getting 3 fastpasses, so I asked one castmember, "I'm not sure if you can do this or not, but my DH has been waiting with our younger DS this whole time, & 3 fastpasses aren't really going to do us any good..." She said, "Oh, don't worry! We're going to give you enough fastpasses so you won't have to stand in any lines today!"

Each of us were given a handful of the "anytime" fastpasses. I was given 8, I think. DD & DS were given 6. We ended up with 22 total because the older couple who had been riding behind me were headed to the airport & couldn't use theirs.

The fastpasses were good for anywhere in the MK for that day (9/14) & the next day (9/15) which I thought was nice, but our plans were to be in the AK on 9/15.

The funny thing was when we got on Splash Mountain, Frontierland was EMPTY & we were all excited about how many rides we were going to be able to do! Instead we sat in the sun watching as the walkway got more & more crowded!

In 2008, we were also stuck once on Haunted Mansion for about 15 minutes... but it was in the nice, cool dark!

We've been stuck on a few rides for short amounts of time, and for some reason, on GMR at DHS more than a few times.

The last time this happened, we were in the Wizard of Oz scene for a good 25 - 30 minutes. They killed the sountrack quickly enough, thankfully, but even so, all those silent, staring muchkins were just...creepy. <SHIVER>

Got stuck on Haunted Mansion right at the ballroom scene. Stayed there for about a half hour. I loved it! It was August and about 15,000 degrees (no exaggeration ;) ) and it was so calm and relaxing and COOL! No joke, we all felt so refreshed after taking a mini nap in HM. LOL! We still talk about how you would never think being stuck on a ride would be so nice!

Space Mountain but it wasn't very long - maybe 5 minutes. The neat thing was that they had to turn on the lights so we did the ride with the lights on. The only perk was going on the ride right away again.

We got stuck on Spaceship Earth for about 15 minutes. No perk, but there wasn't a line anyway. That was not fun because one of my kids was freaking out as we were stuck backwards in the dark on the way down the hill.

We had that happen to us too, but it was a different animal. We did not wait that long. The driver called someone as soon as he saw the animal in the path, but it moved before help arrived.

yes, on Test Track- we were on the track in the heat and sideways, my daughter was on the bottom part- thank goodness for the armrests there holding DH and I up- or we would have crushed her.

Everytime I have been on Test Track it has broke down. Hope one day to ride it all the way through without a hitch.

This happened to me in December of 2010, we got stuck in the "hot" part (I forgot the actual name) for almost 40 minutes, we didn't get any water or FP though. I almost always get stuck in Space Mountain, just never on the ride but on the queue, the music could really put me to sleep! Haha. Many years ago I got stuck in Peter Pan and I thought it was the coolest thing ever, my mom didn't think the same! LOL. In December of 2010 I also got stuck in Splash Mountain during EMH and the CM let us ride about 4 times without getting off. It was scary though, we were only 2 people on the log, it was extremely cold by the way and we got stuck in dark part of the attraction! It was fun though

I've been stuck on Tst track in cold room for 45 mins with water dripping on me!!! & I got stuck in haunted mansion for 5 mins & Spaceship earth for 5 mins never got anything out of it though.....

That is water torture! This reminds me of this last time, when we were stuck on Splash Mountain, right as you're going up the big hill. There seems to be more water than normal dripping from the ceiling there, and you guessed it-- we were stuck RIGHT there. For 30 minutes. Drip drip drip. I nearly began gnawing on the lap bar from sheer insanity. Finally they had to turn on the lights and escort us out, through the back of the ride.

To add insult to injury, we'd used the FPs we'd gotten from the breakdown of ANOTHER ride to get on it. I mentioned this before, but we had to have the fire department rescue us from PoC after an hour because the boat got stuck and would not move forward or backwards. When they evacuated us, we had to walk a looooong way to get out, and they'd stationed a CM at various intervals to watch us and remind us, "No pictures. No pictures of behind-the-scenes."

The good news was, we saw an awful lot of parts of WDW that they usually keep hidden. The bad news is that we now know why they keep it hidden. It's not exactly magical!

Got stuck on Splash Mountain. Realized I was wedged in by the lap bar and my park bag and proceeded to have a horrible panic attack. I can't stand being "trapped" even if logically I know I'm safe. It felt horrible. I am pretty sure nobody noticed as there was nobody around us but it sucked. Just an anxiety thing but an awful awful feeling.
Hence the reason you would have to knock me out to get me on Mission Space:worried:

Got stuck in the ice cave on Expedition Everest for 45 minutes. They eventually unloaded us and we had to walk out of the mountain. We had to walk down 26 flights of stairs. Very interesting to see the inside of Everest. It looked like a big warehouse, with scaffolding, A/C units and forklifts, etc. There were a lot of leaks in the roof with puddles of water underneath. No pictures were allowed.

Small World - July 2010. They waited 20 minutes to turn the soundtrack off. Somebody got out of a boat during the wait and they had to send in CMs in waders to check the whole attraction. It was nearly an hour wait before we escaped. They greased the wheels with 3 FPs per person when we got off - so that more than made up for our lost time.

I've been stuck on haunted mansion, CoP, pirates and space mountain with the lights on for awhile. There may be something I'm forgetting, I remember getting stuck quite a few times.

I remember riding IASW and praying we wouldn't get stuck. I was thinking of how horrible that would be LOL.
