Epcot's Teddy Bear and Doll Weekend???

So I just found out that the teddy bear and doll weekend starts on the day I was planning to go to Epcot this year. Has anyone been to this before or know anything about it? I'm just trying to decide if I should rearrange our schedule because I don't want to get to the park and realize that we can't do all the rides we want or that the park will close early for the event. Thanks for the help!
