Does anyone know if there are ever any discounts for this property? I would really like to stay there for a few nights, but it seems a bit pricey at $155. for just my DH and me. Hard to justify on my budget.

I've gotten a AAA discount there in the past.

We've paid more than that there with discounts, so your price sounds good. I would be surprised to find it much lower without it going to a priceline bid.

Do you need all that room ? Are you tied to Hilton resorts ? If not you could do better. What are your dates ?

April 9-13. We would really like to be on that end of I-drive. We stayed at the Quality Inn Plaza last year and it was OK. We could get that for less. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Certainly understand the location issue. One thing you are running into with those dates is many are on spring break that week, we are. Will put my thinking cap on ;)

Maybe some others have ideas as well.

Right across the way (we looked at it out our room at Embassy) is the Doubletree Castle.
If you can do a room (no suite) they are coming up as low as $106.

What about a studio unit at HGVC International Drive? Nice resort and probably less money.

Those dates come up unavailable at that resort. The next week they are open, but at more than Embassy is quoting her.

I show it thru a consolidator at $626.76 for the 4 nights including tax.

But it could also be rented thru an owner as well. It's showing available.

How do you go about checking to rent via owner route ?

You can rent from owners on www.tug2.net

We've rented out our points before (way too many travel opportunities and way too little time to take advantage of them).

HGVC Seaworld is showing $447.24 including tax for her 4 nights thru my consolidator.

I've stayed at both, we own at Sea World but I prefer the theming of I'drive.

The castle may be a good alternative. Thanks
