Anyone else get this?:
Dear Milesource member,
We at GiveAnything.com are aware that the retail gift card you purchased with
your Milesource Reward Certificate has not yet shipped. We apologize for the
delay and any inconvenience it may have caused you.
As an expression of our regret, we have made arrangements with Milesource to
award you an extra 125 AwardMiles. These AwardMiles will appear on your
Milesource
Account Balance by June 6, 2003.
Unfortunately, many of our retail gift cards are still on back order. During
this delay, we would like to offer you the following options:
(1) You can keep the order for the retail gift card, which we expect will ship
to you by the middle of June.
(2) You can replace the order for your retail gift card and we will restore the
balance to your Milesource Reward Certificate, which you can then use to shop
online IMMEDIATELY.
If you choose the second option, we have very exciting news for you You can
now DOUBLE YOUR CERTIFICATE VALUE at our newest on-line merchant:
Restaurant.com.
Simply shop online at www.Restaurant.com and your Milesource certificate is
worth
double its face value at thousands of local neighborhood restaurants across
America.
So a $25 certificate can be redeemed for $50 in restaurant certificates.
If you would like to upgrade your Gift Card order and double your purchasing
power at Restaurant.com, just go to www.milesourcerewards.com/_specialoffer.
Fill in your e-mail address and your Milesource Reward Certificate number, if
you have it handy. Please note that if you do not have your Milesource Reward
Certificate number, it may take us slightly longer to restore your balance.
You will be able to exchange your order via the link above through June 15th,
unless your gift card order ships prior to your request submission.
Whichever option you choose, you will still receive the extra 125 AwardMiles.
If you have any questions, you can reach a GiveAnything customer service
representative
at (877) 922-GIVE ext-200.
Again, we apologize for the delay and the inconvenience. We appreciate your
patience.
Sincerely,
Customer Service

Of course, I immediately checked what restaurant.com has available for the Orlando area, and the only option that's within Disney property is Baskerville's at the Grosvenor Resort. Has anyone eaten here before? Judging from what I've found on the web it looks like they have several reasonably priced buffets, including a character breakfast. I think we could easily eat there twice for $50 (2 adults and 2 kids under 3). Anyone know if there's a way to get there besides driving? I'm one of those people who wants to park the car when we get there and not step back in until we have to (sob) go home.
