We are heading down to DLR tomorrow and the forecast shows a 100% chance of rain. This is the only day on our trip that they offer the electrical light parade. Will they cancel it because of rain?

    Thanks!

All parades will be canceled if it rains. It is completely unsafe for the performers. They will, however, have a rainy day cavalcade which is basically a truck with a bunch of characters piled in chugging down Main Street.

Have fun in the wet! :thumbsup2

Nuts! Okay, thanks. At least there is only one day of rain in the forecast. :cool1: A lot different from where we are coming from!

We just got back from our DL trip last weekend where the forecast was 4 days of rain. I'm also from the Pacific NW, so when I see a forecast with 4 days of rain, we usually get 4 days of solid rain. Not the case in Southern CA, at least based on our experience last weekend. Over the course of 4 days we had a few hard showers, but it was pleasant the rest of the time. When it says 100% chance of rain, it doesn't mean it's going to rain 100% of the day. Just that at some point during the day, there's a darn good chance it'll rain. As far as cancelling stuff, we saw the fireworks in the pouring rain one night, but they were cancelled the next night. Most attractions seemed to be up and running. I hope you have a fabulous trip!

Yep, we people from the rainy states are totally used to it. When we were there last year, it sprinkled for about five minutes and people were whipping out the ponchos. I am so used to rain I couldn't even tell you where my umbrellas are. I just don't even notice anymore.

Thanks for the info about the "100% rain." I thought that meant it would rain all day. Good to know!
