I am starting to look into food processors. Have no idea where to start.
Some are very expensive and some cheap.

I want to grind up nuts, vegetables and fruit. Not to mix a cake.
It must have a switch that I can leave it running for a while (to make peanut butter). Not the switch that you have to hold down.

All ideas are appreciated. I have no experience in this stuff.

thanks much

You don't want to use food processors to mix cakes.

Most food processors have a processing and a pulse switch.

Look at reviews on Amazon, other online stores and use Google. I have a Kitchenaid model I like.

We just spent seemingly forever trying to pick a food processor. We ended up deciding to splurge and bought the Breville, but a bunch of the Cuisinart ones had great reviews as well. BBB has 20% off coupons, so we saved quite a bit by buying it there.
