early park openings

When a park opens early for resort guests, do you go to that park or do you go to another park. What is the better strategy if you are a resort guest?

We go in early, but leave by lunch and go to a different park in the afternoon (we still do naps). For us, we're up every morning by 5:30 or 6:00, so early is good in our world.

We go to the park in the morning and leave after an early lunch. In the evening we go to a different park. We are always up early and don't need an alarm to do this though.

If we stay onsite, we always do the early EMH, and wait to see how the crowds get. Hardly ever do the late EMH.

we actually never go to early EMH. Example...if today it's at MK...we'll go to MGM and then go to MK the next day...at this time of year (sept) it works out well for us with minimal wait times.

it's what works for us...

We just got back last night. We were there early at MK for the Little Ones Magic Hour on Wed morning and it was great. It seemed like we had the park to ourselves, and we LOVED IT! It pretty much stayed that way until we left around 1-2pm. Well, the next morning was the "regular" EMH morning at MK and by 8:30am it was crowded. I should say, there were alot of people, but the rides still weren't too bad for the waits. But by the early afternoon, Pirates even had a 45 minute wait. We got out of there quickly.

We stayed Friday night for the late night EMH at Epcot. We figured that everyone would be at the Halloween party. WRONG. There were 40 minute waits at Soarin' and Test Track. With no FP available.

I guess everyone on the DIS boards are correct: stay away from the EMH parks.
