DVC Mike Live at VGF (Mar 1-8)

Thanks for sharing your pictures and experience!

Could I ask a favor? Would you mind taking a picture of the sleeper sofa opened up? I just put in a request to rent points for a trip in January 2015 and I want to make sure my daughter will be comfortable sleeping on it. My son will take the pull down trundle.

I've looked everywhere for pictures or feedback as to the comfort level of the VGF sleeper sofa and I cant find anything.

Thank you in advance!

Love your pictures! I was surprised how much I enjoyed VGF. We stayed in a 2 bedroom in December. My son, who is a BLT lover, preferred VGF. Now that he is an adult he'll have to buy his own points there!

Mike,

Your photos are fabulous!!!

We usually go for a week in May after our granddaughter's spring semester. This year we didn't book a one bedroom at VGF for May because our Dec and Jan trips used up our 500 VGF points. Our granddaughter has 5 weeks off between semesters.

We decided we love the VGF so much we would buy 250 more VGF points but it was to late to get a villa at VGF for this May.

Now we have to decide if we should stay somewhere else or bank the points.

Next year we will book all three trips at the VGF at 11 months.

Your photos are always a joy to see!!! Thank you!!!

DVC Mike, :wave2:

Thanks for posting your TR. I always enjoy them. We stayed in a 2 BR at the GF over NYE, and it is now my favorite resort. We also booked a lake view. I look forward to many more stays there. :goodvibes

Can't wait to hear more...I love your descriptions of the parks and what you do in them. It gets the juices flowing for our next visit. :coffee:

We walked over to the Poly, took the photos of the DVC construction, and then had a surprising fantastic meal at Kona Cafe. Chef Bret made an amazing spread of gluten-free, soy-free sushi - including some “frushi” (fruit sushi).

A couple of shots from the walk over.

I took the monorail over to the MK. There seem to be cranes and walls up all over the place.

Not too many lovely photos of the castle with that constant crane in the background.

Wait, make that 3 cranes.

We made our regular visit to have lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern and were selected as the family to ring the bell at the opening (DW loved that).

I just go for the burger, which I think is pretty darn good.

Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures. The weather looks great as I look at snow outside my window!

We went over to the Contemporary to have dinner at the Wave. Ended up taking a taxi since the monorail was down and didn’t feel like taking the boat and then walking.

Here are a few shots of BLT for those of you who own there or enjoy staying there.
