Driving down the day before.

Well this is my 4th time in a row with the wonder. Now that I have relocated I do not need to fly to fl. I will be driving in the day before and need a place to stay close to port but the least expensive and also a rental location close to port to drop a rental company van off. Any suggestions?????

There is a Motel 6 on A1A that is only a few miles from the port. There are also a few car rental offices in the port area. I have used Avis and Budget, they are both on A1A, and both have free shuttle service to and from the port.
