Drive times on I-4 from Daytona to The Fort

How has construction on I-4 affected the drive time from Daytona to The Fort? We are thinking about staying on 95 and using Rt. 528 (Beach Line Express) to get to Fort Wilderness this time...about 40 miles additional.

Used I-4 on 7/10 west and 7/18 east. Just SUV, no towing. It was fine,just a little narrow.I think a lot of issues are caused when there are accidents.

We just did the drive this weekend for a Friday - Sunday trip. The construction was no problem. There are lane closures near WDW each night from 10PM -7AM but it did not create that much of back up.
