alright...i'm glad my mom mentioned this or else i might've been stuck off the boat. i'm married, so obviously my name is no longer the one on my birth certificate, so do i need to bring along my marriage license also????

As long as you are a US citizen you will just need your certified copy of your birth certificate and a photo id. They match your birthdates on both documents and your first name. No need to bring marriage certificates.

Watch out when filling out your date of birth on the documents. The normal month, day, year is day, month, year if I remember correctly.
