Thanks! You know that SOOOO many people I've showed that pic to don't get it? Maybe it's because I already knew what it was that I could see "love" clear as day, but everyone asks "what's with the shadow puppets?".

Thanks! I'm not sure about the pins. I'm still debating whether I want to do a few randomly placed hair pins or put them clustered at the same spot where my my hair will be up. Or I might want to do fresh flowers. Who knows! Any opinions??

Here are some pics of our cake inspirations. Justin says that he always pictured white frosting, so i guess it will end up being white frosting with either brown or green swirls (if they can do the right shade). We haven't even picked out a baker yet! AHHHH! We're so behind! It will definitely be buttercream though. Most (apparently not all, but I can't find any) fondant has gelatin in it and FI and I are both vegatarians. Plus I LOOOOVE *good* buttercream.

My favorite wedding purchase so far. A discontinued Bobmay cake serving set. I actually ran across a second set and bought it and sold it on Ebay. I sold it for $200! Geez. The fall/nature themed brides are searching like crazy for these! I actually already have mine tentatively sold for $250 after our November wedding! I wanted to keep it for sentimental reasons, but for that much I think I might be stupid not to!

This one is a bit more plain, but I like the ferns with our leafy/nature look we have going on!

I love chocolate and the way chocolate cakes look, but I don't know if I'll be able to convince Justin!

I want a moss covered cake stand like this.

I already posted generic website pics of them, but I got my earrings a couple of days ago and love them! I was afraid they would match my necklace (the earrings are faux pearls and the necklace is real). I tried them on yesterday and started to feel like a real bride!!!!

You should do one! I have a knot bio honestly, which is why I have all of my pics on shutterfly already. I like being able to have people comment on it and *hopefully* give advice. I wasn't sure whether I should do one since I'm not having a Dis wedding, but I figured what the heck! I think I'm most excited about the honeymoon though!

Thanks for the engagement pic compliments! That's one of the few things I literally (I mean almost kicking and screaming) made FI agree to splurge on. I have an art history degree so I'm really picky about anything artsy. I told him that it's not my fault he's working on his computer-information-technology-something-or-other degree and doesn't have a creative bone in his body! I actually am working on becoming a photographer now so I wasn't going to have half rate photos of our wedding day! I'm really glad we did though. The photographers semi-crazy, but in a good way and makes us feel so comfortable! I completely fell in love with the photojournalistic style.

I haven't been around much lately. I've just gotten fed up with the whole planning process. Well, not planning, but money! We're WAAAAYYY over budget and don't know what to do. STDs were sent a long time ago so we can't cut the guest list any more. Ah well... it better be worth the money since I wish we'd eloped!

I did get a new dress though. I'm excited about that. I loved mine, but just felt like I didn't look around much and try on more. I actually found it on ebay! (My old one is on there right now if anybody's shoppin'!)

I'm altering the sleeves to be 3/4 length.

My invites are almost COMPLETELY done. I regret taking on such a huge and expensive diy, but they really do set the fall tone I wanted (I hope so at least)!

I'm too picky. I might have spent less money on the wedding if I didn't pay extra to have the matching "deep-U" flap for both envelopes!

Naugi hair combs

A quick mock-up of one of the fireplace mantle decorations. It's too much contrast though, so do you think if I add some white flowers to it, it will help balance the color out? We're using white anemones in the bouquets so I thought that might work. This will be in the middle and the leaf garland will go down the length of the fireplace. I'll probably do one smaller pumpkin arrangement on each side. Opinions PLEASE!

We finally figured out the flavors. I think that's what I'm most excited about! Well, aside from the whole marriage thing!

top layer to keep: chocolate chip
middle layer: pumpkin
bottom layer: half raspberry sour cream/ half chocolate fudge

It's all buttercream iced and filled.

On a Disney related note... I've never owned actual luggage since I've never gone anywhere that I couldn't just use a duffel or a tote bag so I bought my first luggage!!!! Yay! It makes the disneymoon seem so much quicker. FI is SO excited too. We wanted to start working on a puzzle so when we were at the store looking for one he picked out a Disney one. how cute!

oh yeah... I got a new ring! We were looking at bands and nothing would fit next to my 6-prong solitaire. It had a knife edge so there was a huge gap between rings. We got a great deal on it though so it wasn't that bad!

I love your flower pictures, I hope you don't mind but I took your pictures. I'm ordering my bridesmaid dresses at the end of the week in possibly a purple color but I was having doubts as I didn't know what colour flowers I could use. I think they would be perfect if I can get them.
