Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

We had turn down service again tonight without asking. Lounge has been great. The additional seating is a huge plus. Even at 100% capacity we have never had a problem getting a seat. Tonight there was a seafood stew and a Moroccan meatball. There has been lots of food and the CMs quick to refill. I did notice that they are not stocking the pop in the frig as much. About 6 cans of each kind which they pretty much let it run out before they add more. The CMs have been very friendly. Chatting with guests in the lounge, making sure everyone as happy etc. So far we could not ask for a better trip.

I am so glad to read this. AKL CL was always one of our favorites and I was sad to hear that they had stopped the turndown service. We have had some wonderful stays there and I am glad you are enjoying it. :)

I haven't stayed there myself, but I've researched it when looking at options for staying for a convention. The Business Class rooms have some of the same perks as the Deluxe Club level, but in a scaled back fashion. The lounge provides a continental breakfast in the morning, and then there are snacks and drinks from 5-10. There are no hot appetizers, but you'll find chips and salsa, pretzels, cheese and crackers, and stuff like that. They have soda, beer, wine and sangria. There is no itinerary planning service, and there's no snack service between breakfast and 5 pm. The rooms are closer to the main buildings, and there are some nicer amenities in the room, but you don't get evening turn down. You can probably find more information on the Coronado Springs Thread here:

We stayed there once for a long weekend and loves it. The location of the rooms is perfect, the breakfast was great. We didn't get to do the afternoon apps because we were busy in the parks. The times really are more limited than the delux lounges but there were lots of families and it wasn't too "businessy" even though there was a convention on at the time. I thought staying business class at CSR was a good, much less expensive alternative to a delux.

Thanks mickeynut!!!!!! I don't think we can go wrong with either resort! I just love knowing I have something exciting to look forward to next year!! When is your next trip?

I agree, you can't wrong with either one! The Poly is definitely something to look forward to next year as it will make a great birthday trip ::yes::.

I have a trip booked at the Poly for the end of September, but it might have to be pushed back. I'm looking at some dates in December and hoping a room discount comes out for our time frame :wizard:.

Just booked Yacht Club (CL) for a short trip before Thanksgiving. Have only stayed at AKL (CL) before and I LOVED it. I am having mixed feelings about a different resort, but this one is my husbands choice (we had a few non magical experiences at AKL last year). I know there is a room refurb starting in August, so I am hoping we may get a "new" room in November. Is there anything I should know that makes this club level different than AKL?

I'm sure you'll have a great time at the YC. We've never stayed at the YC, but have visited many times over the years and it is a nice resort. We've never stayed CL at either one, but I do know the lounges are different. The AKL lounge overlooks the lobby and is always open for guests to sit and relax during non-food service times, while YC CL is in an actual room that locks in between food service times. Hopefully others who have been to both will chime in with a comparison of the two :).

Snacks today were goldfish, jelly beans, Carmel popcorn, jelly beans, kettle chips, chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, granola bars, spiced nuts and trail mix. There is always whole fruit out. A variety of cans of pop. Apple juice bottles. Milk is upon request which is different than our previous trips. Lemonade, Jungle Juice and water is the dispensers. Coffee and tea too.

Thanks for checking in and for the great pics! Glad you're having a great time and enjoying AKL CL :goodvibes.

I don't know that I am doing this correctly because I am totally new here but, we will be staying at Yacht Club, Club level June 11-17. I would love to be added. :-)

Hope you have a great trip :wizard:.

Either month I hope you have a great trip!!! We honestly can't even imagine going any other time but Christmas!!! We love all the decorations and Christmas music wherever we go!! Enjoy your planning!

Just received another welcome email from YC and it stated:

Because you’re enjoying a Club Level stay, you’ll get to enjoy things like advanced itinerary planning services, personalized Front Desk and Concierge service. It also includes nightly turndown service with chocolates, exclusive access to the Club Level Lounge that offers continental breakfast, beverages and midday snacks, as well as evening wine, cheese, cordials and dessert.

Anyone have an updated email for AKL IPO?? The one on the first page of the thread just came back undeliverable

Hi all! We checked in at GF SL on 5/24. Things were a mess. The system was completely down, we had to do a paper check in and they had a master lists of rooms they had to look everyone up on. We were escorted to SL on a golf cart and given a tour of the resort. This is our first time staying club and although I am aware of the cuts mentioned on these boards, we have loved it. I'm sure we would like it even more with the items that were cut being here but it's meeting our needs.

They have been short staffed in the lounge and I can tell they're trying. Staff has been polite and talk to our kids which I like. The concierge was able to cancel a dinner ADR for us yesterday without penalty when my DH got sick and they sent a runner to Hollywood Studios for us today after we got back and realized we forgot to pick up the magic band my daughter designed.

We're here until 6/4 and I'll try and do a more detailed report after we get home. If anybody has any questions let me know, I'm currently camped out in Conch doing laundry. I do really wish they had laundry in SL.

Thanks for the post! My kids would LOVE it if we got escorted with a golf cart. Hope that still is going on in August! Does anyone know if that is typical? I had heard they weren't doing escorts anymore.

We did not have a golf cart escort to SL building. I wish we had.

I have heard rumours that the cordials are back in SL - could you check please?

Enjoy your trip!

We are staying club level for the first time at the Yacht Club in a few weeks. I'm wondering if there are bottles of water available in the lounge. We are not big soda drinkers, especially in the FL heat!!:)

Thanks so much! Planning is half the fun for me so if we do have to push our trip back, it will be just as enjoyable for me planning for December (just a little longer wait to go ;)).

I agree about Christmas time, it's such a great time to go with all of the decorations and festivities :santa:.

Sorry about the mess at check in, but glad you are having a great time and enjoying SL :wizard:.

I can't answer about the water, but wanted to say I hope you have a great trip :goodvibes.

No bottles of water at the YV. BWI has bottled water.

Please put us down for WL CL Sept 18-20. Switching to the BWI non B=CL room for 6 nights afterwards.

When we were at the YC there was no bottled water given out. Only soda.

I'm staying CL at the Poly for 2 nights then 6 at AKL in October. I'm wondering if anyone has had some specific requests or wishes that the CL CMs granted during your stay in the past that were above and beyond? Like were they able to get you a fastpass for Anna and Elsa or 7DMT? last minute dining package? eggs for breakfast? Just curious whats possible.
