Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Warning - the cement at the pool gets SERIOUSLY HOT. Like burning coals!

I noticed this, too. I stayed at the Yacht Club for one night and spent the day in the pool. The angle of the sun must be different than the pools by the MK because I have never experienced this there.

SUPER POOL. It cannot be missed.

Cross posted from Beach Clun Thread, cuz I am lazy. :rolleyes1

We checked out of BCCL last Thursday. I miss it so much! We were treated to a magical upgrade to a water view room - room 5687 - we had reserved standard view. The club level staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful.

Your review has made me so excited for our upcoming stay! Do you remember what they offered for breakfast? The BF is a meat and potatoes guy when it comes to breakfast food so a little nervous about that. And do you remember if the alcohol was self serve or a bar situation? Thanks so much and glad to hear you had a great trip!

No meat or potatoes for breakfast and I would have liked that - like I said every other day would have been nice. They had oatmeal with toppings, 3 dry cereals - Fruit Loops and Raisin Bran can't remember the 3rd, several kinds of bagels with butter or cream cheese, croissants, muffins, danish, hard boiled eggs, 3 kinds of yogurt, strawberries cut up, melon, and some kind of grain salad.

For alcohol, they have it set up as a bar. Its a no guilt situation though - I had them fill a to go cup with pinot grigio on more than one occasion. Had their special drink one night - was champagne and something fruity. Very good!!

Hope you have a great time!!

I forgot - also for breakfast cheesy grits and deli sliced ham and cheese.

@trishadono so did you end up loving Poly LV 1505 as much as we did?
I really wasn't happy to pay extra $25 for ds and pay extra to switch from GV to LV when we added a night and no GV availability. However, ds and dd have not been to Disney together in a few years vs 2 times a year previously.

Was it worth it??? 10 pm our first night we were in bed early because we flew out early that day. Dd and I were in bed closer to sliders and ds in other. All of a sudden the fireworks started and ds jumped up and dove in bed with us to watch them in the comfort of being under the blankets as a family:goodvibes

PRICELESS

Also one day I went out on the patio and sat down, dd came out and all of a sudden 8 ducks came around the wall and just quaked at her lol! She loves poly ducks:thumbsup2

I had stayed in 11 and 13 and liked those but I felt 1-5 would be the best. I was so happy to get that room:banana:

I had coffee at 7am, again at 3pm, a glass of wine before applies on my patio. :beach:

Loved that room!!!

Thanks for asking so I could reminisce :)

18 days til we're back at RPC for 3 nights! Then onto our home away from home: YC lagoon view club level!! Getting hard to think about everyday life!!! :rotfl2:

Splitting between the MK and Epcot area is the best of both worlds! Have a great trip :wizard:.

That's a memory to cherish forever! It doesn't matter how old our kids get, those special moments never get old :).

I'm with your DD, I love the ducks, too :goodvibes.

I don't disagree at all. They should do better, without a doubt. Especially since it's a service they advertise.
Though I wonder, if someone books online without reading what CL is, does it ever mention IPO services? I can't remember
our first trip to wdw was in 2014, our TA talked us into beach club cl. It was only this year while planning my next CL trip for 2017 that I learned about IPO. I had no idea.

I feel the exact same :cloud9:. The memories we've had as a family in that building are indeed priceless. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I think it's the soothing music combined with the water and boats that sets the mood. I can't wait to get in our room so I can head right out to the patio! Love it the best at night...

Y'all stop with all this Poly talk, I'm still in withdrawal!!
You know our going home day we checked out of gf and then went right to poly!! We had lunch at Kona then walked over by the bungalows. We had to pass "our room" too. Then we took the ferry from TTC to MK. We went into MK and just rode the train and watched the 3pm parade. Then we mono'ed back to gf for our ME bus.

It was a great split but I love the feel of poly. I find it more relaxing. However the courtyard pool was never crowded and that was great at gf.

Where will I end up next time? The discount will decide!!!

I'm having Poly withdrawal as well. I had changed to BWI CL for July 4th weekend because we were planning the DHS fireworks and such but Amy and I were missing the Poly. I'm back at BWI for October as there is no passholder availability now for Poly. this will be a quick F&W trip though so BWI is probably a better fit but I do miss my Poly. Two of my girls are doing 'Ohana dinner and we are all doing Kona breakfast on departure day so that's a little fix

New to Disney, so new to CL. I got an email from Disney saying to update my check in info and that because of our magic bands we can just go straight to our room... So no need to check in with Anyone to find out where the lounge is, etc?? Seems strange to me???

Returned yesterday from a great trip to the Beach Club 8/19 to 8/23. We booked a water view room Club Level and received our Room Ready text while on Magical Express at 9:30 am on 8/19. We were greeted in the lobby and escorted upstairs where we were invited to enjoy the breakfast offerings while they brought us our checkin in paperwork.

Our room was 5719 and was pretty far from the lounge but overlooked Stormalong Bay and we could even see some of the Hollywood Studios fireworks at night. I'm still figuring out how to post pictures on the Disboards but if any of you are on facebook and are on the Mousejunkies page, I've posted pictures there.

My family and I loved the Club Level here and all staff made us feel welcome. Same food offerings as at the Yacht Club where we stayed earlier this summer, but the lounge itself is much larger.

We had turndown service every evening and did not have to request it.

We tried Cape May Café and Yachtsmen Steakhouse as new restaurants for dinner on this trip and had a good experience at Cape May and a GREAT experience at Yachtsmen.

Stormalong Bay provided some much needed relief to the August heat and humidity, and the proximity to Epcot allowed multiple visits to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

I celebrated my birthday there on August 21 and spent the morning and afternoon at Magic Kingdom and thoroughly enjoyed all of the birthday wishes granted to me by all who saw my bedazzled birthday button (courtesy of the Club Level staff).

My family has now stayed at 4 Deluxe resorts ( WL, YC, BWI and BC) and could definitely see a return to BC in our future.

Yeah, Disney's push for online check-in conflicts a bit with the CL setup and to some extent what they advertise about the CL check-in experience. As a new CL guest, I'd recommend to not do the online check-in, rather, check-in on-site so you can ask any questions, ask about the lounge, etc. Usually they'll give you a quick overview of everything, but sometimes you may have to ask. They'll also be a small welcome packet with misc hotel info.

Even if you do the online check-in and were to receive the "straight to the room" text, still stop by the CL desk to get your packet and ask any questions you may have. Just because you do the online check-in doesn't mean you can't stop by the CL desks for an 'informal' check-in.

Hope you have a great trip!

I agree! We never do OCI as I like checking in at the resort, but I would definitely recommend resort check in for a new CL guest ;).
