The Disneyland Resort offers much more than just rides and attractions. Everywhere you go there is music, and often you'll find scheduled and unscheduled entertainment throughout the parks. I've only captured some of it here, and maybe you can add pics that you have to these.


Character Entertainment

Meeting the characters is so much fun for the children (and children at heart) and here Ariel greets guests at her grotto in Disneyland.

Musical Entertainment

The Main Street Band entertains guests as they enter the Happiest Place on Earth.

Rod Miller, a Disneyland icon, entertains crowds at Coke Corner, Main Street. Rod is no longer at Disneyland, but guests can enjoy listening to jazz and Disney and other show tunes here while enjoying a yummy hot dog.

Billy Hill and the Hillbillies offer music and comedy at the Golden Horseshoe. This is a funny show to watch, and you can grab a bite to eat while you watch the show.

Our cousin Heather is being serenaded for her 13th birthday while my dd Kelly looks on in New Orleans Square.

Listen to jazz & blues in New Orleans Square, and if you're lucky you may catch a bead necklace as they throw them out.

Parades and Shows


Guests can entertain storytelling by Aladdin & Jasmine. Here is the entrance - between the Jungle Cruise & Tiki Room.

Fantasmic is shown on the weekends during non-peak times, and every night during peak times. This is a must-see show at least once.

Visit the Animation Station & talk to Crush from Finding Nemo. Young guests can sit on the floor, and older guests in the back -- this is a neat show.

That Something Extra

Lagniappe used to entertain us in New Orleans Square. He really added a little something extra to the New Orleans experience.

Jr Chef is relatively new at Disneyland. Guests get to make chocolate chip cookies, and eat them, too.

Princess Storytelling takes place at the Toy Shoppe in Fantasyland. Here is Snow White telling young guests a story.
